Donald, as most have said all along, just comes across as a proper decent fella, who you’d gladly buy a pint.

Some great shots over the city and stadium, from a production point of view.

 

The series makes us look like really good people, but go on to our biggest online forum and we look like ****.

 

Isn’t that how it works though, you’re always optimistic on match day, forums are where we see the aftermath of yet another kick in the teeth.

I really do like Donald, I’m 3 in, he’s a good fella.

 

Just finished episode 1 and can't fault either Donald or Methven to be fair. Both pretty much spoke the truth.

SD was refreshingly honest, where did it all go wrong.

 

I don’t know that it has, more that the expectation and targets changed too quick for him.

None of us expected promotion before a ball was kicked last year, then to nearly have it made everything look like a failure when in reality after 3 years of rot, it was pretty decent effort.

 

The Maja stuff is blood boiling. He clearly wanted to stay he was genuinely oblivious to the thought of moving on.

 

But his agent had other motives....

 

See with Methven, the annoyance is he knew what he was doing, he had the vision but he is just ****ing alienating people.

If I’m going to say to staff you’ll need to get to here’ I’ve then gotta say ‘and this is how we get there’.

Knowing where you need to be isn’t guiding folk on how to get there, he missed the whole middle part out. That’s the important bit.

Yeah the way he treated some of the staff was poor - for a marketing guru he should have been telling them how to do stuff not just slag them off.
Is that marketing lass still at the club?

 

No idea mate. To be fair I work in marketing and they look clueless, but that’s where leadership comes in.

Leadership enables, it doesn’t scare.

I had played the Wetherspoon game prior to the match so when I stop SD I was tired.

 

****ing hell the Grigg stuff is difficult to watch.

Everything Donald has done in this is genuinely thinking about the club. That was hard on him that, he went after the bigger picture and you’ve gotta appreciate that.

 

I don't know where this language is allowed If I talked like that where I worked infront of females would have been sacked How can he get away with it

If anyone swore at meeting my wife was in I would confront him
