If Bruce gets his wish and gets 20m to spend let's say in January who would you like to see him go after.

We all know we are desperate for a striker but January is a hard time to get value for money (carroll 35m :-/)

I think come January there could be a very frustrated Adam Johnson wanting to get out of Eastlands. Id love us to try and bring him to the club. I think it would take around 15m to do it but he'd be worth every penny. I think we are okay at left back so wouldn't throw loads of money on that, I don't think a new left back would dramatically change our fortunes good or bad.

I'd love to see a really good manager given the money and see if he could have a better impact on an EPL that for the clubs aspiring to be top 6 or 7, is very much there for the taking. After the 2 Manchester's, Chelsea and imo still Arsenal, there isn't that much of a gap to close imo, to chase for 5th downwards. Liverpool and Spurs are next favs but who after that and why not us. With Bruce and £50m I couldn't see him achieving this as he'd only end up losing whoever he signed this January in August.

There is better out there but fans have got to believe that before it will happen.

im really confused how in a week without us even kicking a ball you have returned to this state. last week you where more positive at least accepting we played relatively well. nothing has changed since then, we haven't even played yet here we are turning every thread into a bruce out ramble.

as for 20m save it for the summer. one or two shrewd signings, no value for money in jan and the prospect of a big money signing hitting the ground running is small. Pav on loan or perm maybe if we could get him for 6/7m but its spurs so i wouldn't hold my breathe on that price tag, they would double it.

His attendance at his boyhood favourites today, instead of doing his job for Sunderland watching WBA, has put paid to any truce I may have drawn with the fat ****er. I cant wait to see the back of the fat geordie twat now, as he doesnt merit my support in any shape or form.

Johnson would be a fantastic buy.
As for a striker??? I'm just hoping Bendy and co. do the business cause there isn't many good ones available.

Cestria Note: Football managers watch other teams just as some so-called fans can't distinguish between their built in phobias about our near neighbours and a decent man doing his job. Grow up! Senior member??? What has seniority done for you? My God I think I may have ranted!!
