I have a French news feed SH that provides me with all the main stories as they happen. To date there has been no interest that I have seen about how popular the government is, but plenty asking are they doing enough. The difference between the two countries is stark. Here they are getting on with it, doing whatever they can to test people, while in the UK the government talks in vague terms of what their goals are. As we should all know, expected goals do not always appear.
The French public are anxious because the French are only including those that die in hospital to its total. The French polls are not based on popularity but on the competence of the government which is sadly lacking.
