Think on the BBC's Ask Questions a doctor stated cooking above 65C would stop it being contagious.

France’s gigantic death toll yesterday included “at least” 884 deaths in care homes, with many left to report.

The rest are, like ours, only hospital deaths.

From that we can take the true death toll is at least 16% higher than stated figures. Particularly when home deaths are thrown in to the mix.

Proteins denature at or above 60 degrees C, think of frying an egg. You don't need very high temperatures before the white (mostly protein) starts cooking. Very few organisms can survive above 60 and those that can aren't going to hurt you. My understanding is that the Covid "spike" which attaches to you is protein

What does that entitle to you to do then? A full lockdown has always been inevitable

What is a 'full lockdown'?? Aren't most people already in a lockdown anyway? I go for food when I need it,medicines when I need them, don't go near my 4 kids or 6 grand-kids.....WTF else can be done??

Full lockdown like in spain, can only go to nearest supermarket only 20 people allowed in at a time, only 1 person can walk dog and you have to carry ID to prove you are not far from your house, that's it not allowed out for anything else. My mate lives over there. Was supposed to be going in June to see him.

It would be more of an achievement to have a properly funded and well managed health service that doesn’t need to build a hospital in 9 days.

Didn't he play for Liverpool. Came on as sub, scored loads of goals and got the tag super sub?

Little Britain is rapidly turning into Little USA. Football players get into offensive positions these days FFS.

Steve Heighway was known as "Supersub". You're thinking of David Fairclough who had a pretty decent goals/games ratio (many off the bench).

You can fling any amount of money at any amount of things but if it's not managed correctly it'll fail!!! Any problem I've ever had with the NHS have came from incompetence, how much does that cost to repair??

No you are not the only one. I only looked it up this morning cos I didn't want to appear uneducated and to be honest I've forgotten already what it means!
There again, it's only become a 'buzz word' for those that cannot express themselves in't proper Yorkshire language!
