depends on whether they like the idea of having more time in house, but no way anything can happen with the season pending on 35 points. i think we can forget it now..

That’s not the most appropriate phrase to use during this global pandemic.

@QWOP - if you let Chippy know what you want Chaos’ avatar changed to, he can get it sorted.

Look honestly Andy Carroll is in April’s calendar. Is it any surprise that sick note is on this month. Crikey even Ashley knew which month.

Nah seriously football is just a sport and a hobby and should take second fiddle to what’s going on in the world. Sorry if it means clubs struggle but it’s an industry of luxury of which we use as a hobby and recreation.

I appreciate that there are people employed by the industry but there is more than enough money kicking around in the clubs if they make sensible decisions aye the elite level. The ones I worry about are lower league clubs.

The billions of pounds in the premier league should be filtered down into the lower leagues.

I don’t know what the answer is?

The Premier League has issued the following statement following a conference call with clubs on Friday 3rd April:

At a meeting of Premier League Shareholders today, clubs discussed in detail how to respond to the COVID-19 global pandemic.

First and foremost, it was reaffirmed that the overriding priority is to aid the health and wellbeing of the nation and our communities, including players, coaches, managers, club staff and supporters.

It was acknowledged that the Premier League will not resume at the beginning of May – and that the 2019/20 season will only return when it is safe and appropriate to do so. The restart date is under constant review with all stakeholders, as the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic develops and we work together through this very challenging time

The Udinese director has said the same. Funny how other countries find out before the fans of this country

If it happens then it will affect football forever.

Just wonder how they will do it. If the seasons cancelled then it means no promotions no relegations and no champions.

Teams in the championship that have gambled to get back in the premier league will be seriously pissed.

I may be missing something but why cancel? Why not just play on when it’s safe to do so? When it’s safe then work out how the next 2 to 3 seasons will be played out.

    I am open to explanations.

That was my philosophy. For sine rain everyone wants to cancel even though come 2022 the seasons will be rearranged anyway

    So no one is ****ed.

As said many times now this scenario would have to be played out in 2022 with the corrupt world cup.

I've already started how I would do and is very easy to implement.

Plus it means west ham could still go down
