It's not for me to work out 'How's that work' - you don't live in London, you live in Wales, so it aint your problem to be moaning about it.

I think they'd struggle to enforce that. The police don't have the manpower, for a start.

Also, what I'm seeing as a transport worker, and in parks in London (I just strolled round Finsbury Park in my lunch hour), differs hugely from the way all this is being reported. Most (not all, of course) people seem to be behaving responsibly, keeping their distance etc. It's the panic spreading media who need pulling up here imo, not the average Joe on the street. A couple of photos from the Metro's archive only tells the story they want to tell.

Hopefully we will get some good video footage put up on the BBC, just to enrage Chief a bit more <whistle>

I'm not talking about the Metro or any other media publication, I'm talking about people's actions that I've seen with my own eyes, it's clear some people don't give a shhite, the rules don't apply to them.

Surely that's only practical to an extent though?

I've got nowhere immediately local that is suitable to go for a walk with my lad. Walking up and down paths on roads having to keep him near me to avoid other people is hardly ideal nor a good form of exercise. There's a local-ish park but you can see by how many people are heading there that it will be heaving.

Instead I took a 10 minute drive to a wooded area with a river/stream running through it where we saw the odd dog walker and he could run about pretty much as much as wanted.

    So you didn't say this...

People in London, for instance, are going to want to go to Hyde Park. Which is then busy, the BBC gets all outraged, and we all then get locked in.

    1. You don't live in London, so it don't affect you <laugh>
    2. Don't watch the BBC <whistle>

There'll always be few people like that.

My point about The Metro is because last week, they were pushing the narrative that trains in London were jam packed. They deliberately gave a completely false impression, you can have a carriage to yourself on tubes and buses.

But why should you be an exception to the 10 minute drive, while other people look out their windows as you drive off. Shall we all take to our cars then?

I'm not moaning about the fact people want exercise.

What part of that don't you get?

The idea they go and walk up and down the nearest road is ridiculous to be absolutely honest.

Majority are following the guidelines as you rightly highlight, it's a minority, I think the concern is the minority might encourage the majority to do the same.

10 minute drive? Must have missed that.

Don't drive anywhere, that's the latest mantra.

I get every part of what you said, you're just windmilling over the BBC, you don't have to watch that channel, you can turn your TV over. Then you was rattling on about Hyde Park, you're several hundred miles from there, so it don't concern you. You're just getting bored and looking for things to moan about.

    Errr, no I'm not.

Changing channels just means Sky or ITV saying the same by the way. Which is the point.

    Media spun fear.

What I'm actually doing is not being led by all the bollocks they spout.

I just read that story on the BBC, I was quite shocked why so many thought isolation was for others and not them.

Because the car drive is a safer mode of transport than passing by scores of people on the payment to be surrounded by hundreds more.

So you are doing your own thing, and fook everyone else, exactly as I expected - We have a population of around 70 Million, and you always get one. Let's all play by Chiefs rules, get a dog and go to the beach....
