Goldie, I watched a report on Starmer yesterday and they said in his early days he was very left-wing and during the comedy Corbyn era, he agreed with a lot of what he said. I think he is not being true to himself.... I am sure the press will dig out some old stories that he will need to answer.

Yes, I heard that too, Ellers. He has been a left wing firebrand. I don't think he should be judged on his student days, but clearly his time in Corbyns' cabinet is highly relevant. I think he's going to spend a lot of time sorting out Labour's internal problems. So unless the Tories self-combust, it's going to be uphill for him to convince the electorate Labour's a government in waiting, particularly as he was a Remainer and supports freedom of movement, which Northern voters in particular, have turned their back on

I never make stuff up. It was on Sky news yesterday. Go away and try to misrepresent Vallance again.

Agree I think he is uncharismatic and slimy. Many voters like someone that appeals to them. Boris for all his faults is fun/charismatic and people like him. I remember back to the election campaign when Boris went out everyone wanted to see him whereas Comrade Corbyn had to drag labour supports out to make up a crowd... I cant see many turning out for Bell end.

He was responsible for Labour's disastrous Second Referendum strategy. The Tories will no doubt remind the electorate of this. A similar strategy totally shafted the Lib Dems

It’s weird how you keep misreading these simple posts. That clearly wasn’t about you making stuff up. The tabloids will do that for you again.

I must apologize as I am a real stickler for correct titles and awards. I referred to Sir Kier Starmer as 'bell end' when really I should have said 'Sir Bell end'. I will try not to make the mistake in future posts. :1980_boogie_down:

    Doesn't work though
    That would make him either
    Bell bell end
    Or
    bell end end

It couldn’t have been clearer. You’re just windmilling again as you did with the Vallance thing.

I did. You didn’t like the response and despite being told you were wrong by several posters insisted you knew better.
