Boris in intensive care : https://www.independent.co.uk/news/...-care-icu-health-symptoms-a9451226.html?amp=1
Must be very serious... I was talking to one of my supervisees who works in a Bradford hospital... We reckoned about a third of all admissions with Covid don't get out alive.... And those in ventilators are at the end of the line... This thing really is not just flu.....
No - unfortunately he is potentially over weight which won't help. Yet some still think it's all been blown over the top and the lockdown is house arrest etc.
My supervisee in Bradford runs a hospital chaplaincy service for Muslim patients... Things are very bad... The hospital is split into two zones, red and green, and red zone is locked in , and you can only get in in PPE and out by changing all your clothes and showering. No visitors in red zones, they don't even answer the phones to relatives. People die alone. The chaplaincy team is setting up an acute bereavement phone line for traumatised relatives. All staff are working twelve hour shifts and they have been told to expect two more months of this..... So sad....
please log in to view this image From a frontline NHS nurse, my daughter. It really does get to me that people like her are putting their lives at risk, while others believe they are above such things.
It is about time everyone took it seriously In London yesterday there was a peloton of MAMILWIP's ( Middle aged men in lycra m**********g in public) cycling through the London Parks If any of them caught it or died from it they would be blaming the Government Halfwits
I love the hand projecting out thing, particularly when the one on the left made the other one jump. All that ****ing around with science when this is all it needed to put an end to Coronavirus. But it works better with electricity like this:
A hideous bastard whose butchery, with others, of the NHS over a number of years, means he has a lot of blood on his hands. Despite that, I hope he, along with everyone else diagnosed, gets better.
That is a very good idea. Every serviceman and servicewoman in WW2 was given a medal a mark of the thanks and respect from the British public. The same should happen in this case. And a different one for those who came out of retirement or returned to their former professions to help.
In Austria it is now compulsory to wear a mask in supermarkets, shops and on public transport. It has been suggested that the lockdown in Germany could be partially lifted under the condition of the compulsory wearing of masks in public places. This is not to suggest that the air has suddenly become dangerous - walking in the countryside is not covered by this compulsion. The quality of the mask is not so important (ie. whether it is a surgical one or not), self made will do - the decisive factor is that everyone does it. We are only talking about a virus which has a reproductive rate of 1:2.5 here. In some countries such as Austria, Switzerland, Germany, Italy and Spain the rate of new infections is falling - in many cases down to a ratio of 1:1 whereby the average case only infects one other person. A virus which has a reproduction rate of one to less than one will slowly die out - the lockdown is working.
Tout mon soutien à Boris Johnson, à sa famille et au peuple britannique dans ce moment difficile. Je lui souhaite de surmonter cette épreuve rapidement. Emmanuel Macron. Wishing Boris Johnson all the best and a speedy recovery. My thoughts are with you and your family. Michel Barnier With the news that the EU still takes on it's duty to treat UK citizens as members of the community by flying them home from places that the government hasn't got round to yet, maybe people should be grateful about the response from the EU rather than constantly trying to find fault.
Shame on you moderator, you are no better than that piece of shi* for posting such a comment at this time.
You do not seem to realise SH that many people will see him in that light. He was one of those clapping and cheering when his party defeated a motion that would have given the people now putting their lives at risk a pay rise. It is easy to stand outside No.10 and clap the same people when it costs nothing. This is hypocrisy of the highest order. Blood on his hands? Surely you can see that if he had been more interested in what was being forecast as a worldwide pandemic in January than the Big Ben bongs, then some of those who have died might still be alive.
I am sorry for you if you cannot appreciate that people from within the EU are still helping your government out when it is not helping ordinary citizens like you or me. Germany and France have been bringing UK people back at half the cost that the UK wants to charge them, and hasn't even organized the flights yet. Why is that? Your narrow minded attitude is quite sad, but unless Conservative Home tells you otherwise I don't expect you to change your views.
