    That's unsurprisingly disappointing.

We are the poorest club in the prem. No getting away from these depressing decisions.

No such thing as "poorest club" in the PL. There's less rich sure, but no poorest.

Hope we're not planning on making any signings in the next 18 months then.

On a semi-serious note surely they could be worth placing on furlough? They'd leave on a free transfer <whistle>

Probably be more surprising if we didn't discuss it to be fair, looks like a non story to me.
As long as we don't actually do it, we discussed it,we said no,we moved on.

The only way we can safely exit lockdown is if no one has the virus (unlikely) or everyone is vaccinated (unlikely to happen within a year), so we will have to come out of lockdown, not because it’s safe, but because of necessity. So those most at risk face tough decisions.

Jack Dorsey, owner of Twitter, has pledged $1bn (a quarter of his wealth) to help combat the virus. Good man.

    Well done that man...<applause>
If all the multi-billionaires did the same it could solve a lot of problems, after all the virus could affect them just as much as anyone else and they would still have more money and power than they could ever possibly need.

Effective treatment of infected people is a priority for WHO and EMA. A number of existing approved drugs are being tested for use possibly in combination. It's likely to be available before a preventive vaccine and could lead to an end to lockdown for many.

I’m with you . I would imagine a lot clubs are at least discussing it , at least they are being open and honest and they have already expressed a desire not to go down the furlough route . I don’t think they will yet .
