A week tomorrow if I’m not mistaken Yeah ok bro that sounds cool, we can exchange posts and admire each other’s rich cultures
Its two weeks tomorrow. Evening of 23rd April. Will be a wierd one this year. The mosques are all locked up here. Normally its a chance for quality family time but we are all overdosing on that at the moment.
@Tobes the response I got was “You’ve signed the contract for the car and the finance documents, so you can’t cancel, sorry”. Do I just tell them to eat a dick?
An online finance broker? **** him. You need to ring the finance company that the leasing agreement is with (JLR iirc) and tell them you’re no longer in a position to take the car and are cancelling, get an email address from them and back this up in writing. Then cancel the DD that you’ll have no doubt signed as part of the docs.
So you’ve ordered the car from a JLR dealer and have financed it through Hitachi right? Ok, there’s 2 contracts involved here. The sales contract is with the dealer, and you’ll have no doubt signed an order with them initially, correct? You’ve then entered into a finance agreement to fund the car and thus fulfil the sales contract with the dealer. You need to cancel both contracts. Put in writing to the dealer that you’re cancelling due to current unprecedented circumstances, combined with their inability to fulfil the contract by registering / delivering the car. Then ring the Hitachi, tell them the same, stress the fact that the dealer hasn’t registered the car nor delivered it, and you can now, no longer accept it. Put it writing afterwards and cancel the DD. Job done.
