My esteemed work colleagues bought me the DVD of Series 1 as one of my retirement presents, which meant I had to buy all the others in quick succession! Absolutely loved it, so did my wife. Ozark is even better though, nearly finished season 1 of that.
I saw the first few minutes of Buzz Aldrin driving an RV in the desert and I instantly became bored. I know there is supposed to be a great drama there but it wasn't for me at that moment. Granted, it was competing against a fabulous science programme at the time, for my attention, so it was almost always going to lose. But maybe one day. I like Bryan Cranston [alias Edwin 'Buzz' Aldrin in From The Earth To The Moon]. He's a great actor. Loved him playing President Lyndon Johnson in All The Way. Now there's something to watch.
I need to know the flavour of the angel delight before I decide whether or not you no your stuff or you are indeed a complete nonce...
I only found the semi skimmed because of the shortages...I don't have a lot of milk myself and Mrs No7 normally has lactose free (she isn't lacto intolerant) skimmed

He was there to fight in the last of the trilogy of title fights. "Rumble in the Jungle", "Thriller in Manilla" and the little known "Legend of Hedge End". It was either that or he was there to promote the local FineFare supermarket. One or the other, I can't be sure it was a long time ago.
That's a great post AS. To think that one of the biggest names in sporting history visited Hedge End seems unbelievable now. I know Hedge End well, I lived there from 1975 to 1980 and I've never even heard that story before now.
phew. I started reading this and you saying about milk shortages then mentioning Mrs No7 I was worried where this was going
This has made me feel so homesick. This is “home” when I am in Spain. Taken from our dedicated Facebook page.
