My dad's a season ticket holder and he had already said before the game was called off that he wasn't going again this season whilst the outbreak is on. He's beginning to get to the age where it begins to0 affect you more and he said that it wasn't worth it.
I stopped doing my match day threads for 4 games and Football gets cancelled. I'll do the one after Saints
Easy to get distracted by minor details like will there actually be any more games this season when the big questions like who will do the next MDT remain unanswered.
Ridiculous plans announced for friendlies before the PL season resumes. All players have to travel in their own cars, coaches to act as refs, and the travel time can't be longer than 90 mins each way. Which does beg the question who exactly Norwich are meant to organise friendlies with? Which clubs that will resume competitive football over the summer are within 90 mins of Norwich? I don't think there's a single team in the Prem/Champ within that range? Games have to be played at stadiums or training grounds apparently, which would appear to rule out meeting in the middle?
Sounds a bit iffy, though it does say that teams like Newcastle (and presumably us?) will be granted special dispensation if they have to travel further.
City's home fixture with Southampton will be on June 19 and will be shown on SKY at 6pm and they also have their home match against Everton to be shown on the BBC at 6pm on Wednesday June 24 followed by their FA Cup Quarter final against Man U on June 27th to be shown on the BBC (KO 8.15pm) and our away game to Arsenal to be shown on BT Sport at 6pm on July 2nd Details of City's televised games and other games up to July 2 on various media channels on link below https://www.eveningnews24.co.uk/sport/norwich-city/norwich-opening-game-details-1-6685955
Have we got any friendlies? I see Arsenal just played Charlton. It would be remiss not to be prepared for this match. Especially as I think we need to be out of the relegation spots within six matches (i.e. around four or five wins) because I think this season could be finished on PPG basis still.
Apparently we've got a friendly lined up against Spurs on Friday. We can play them because they are 90 minutes travel from us and we have played them twice in the Premier league this season so will not face them in the run-in https://www.eveningnews24.co.uk/spo...am-in-friendly-according-to-reports-1-6689018
