It means it needs retesting. Either because the test was done incorrectly or that the positive (internal) control within the test has not shown up. Has she been offered a new test?
That's what she's attempting to find out from her boss Beth. All it said was unclear, 2 others in her team of 12 also came back as unclear.
It is exciting. Quite the rollercoaster of emotions to see if we can finish worst off in the entire world. 105k tests yesterday. Down from the definitely not massively fudged absolute load of bollocks 122k the day before.
Disappointed no one has pressed her on her previous comments about the lack of importance of testing.
This virus was rife in mainland Europe two weeks before it started to effect the UK. Our government had the opportunity of foresight and forewarning. Boris had the opportunity to address the scenario but decided it wasnt even worth attending a COBRA meeting. As for people espousing about football forum pundits being experts on the subject. I have had to live the nightmare of watching my 87 and 90 year old parents sharing an isolation ward in a Banbury hospital with them both having the virus. So I have actually witnessed first hand what was going on "in the field", doesnt make me an expert but I think it gives me licence to make comment thank you very much!
None of us are experts on here but could have seriously made some of the logical decisions earlier and more decisive. Some of it, considering the pre warning we had from other countries was just common sense.
I will do beth. She's at work at the moment. She text my mrs about an hour or so to tell her. We are all baffled.
The CDC in the US recommends testing everyone twice because of the high level of inconclusive results and false negatives (20-30%) with these tests, and if you look at the number of tests administered v the number of people tested (yesterday 1m v 760k) this must have been happening here, the same person being tested two or more times. In fact that would have to be the case for everyone hospitalised I suppose, you couldn’t be discharged until you tested negative for the virus........
true but just because someone might have avram grant and john carver in charge of their football clubs doesn't mean you have to accept that mark hughes is brilliant because he's better than those two
With respect CCJ, could you just list the many positives from the government ? I genuinely thought that was the original question that has somehow been forgotten, though it’s pretty far back down the thread. Just getting ready for work now so I’ll look out for it later. Not goading just curious as to what is seen as a positive.
Not everyone has died. April was unusually sunny. QPR unbeaten in nearly two months. Alok Sharma learned to tie his shoelaces.
