That's not what I said either. This thread and in fact this board has become a loathsome, hate filled place. So much **** thrown at other posters by keyboard warriors, usually untrue. Bollocks to that.
I can, they made an absolute hash of it to start with, but have done some of what needed to be done since. They are still telling lies and I think if they admitted they got it wrong, apologised and told us exactly what's happening, without all the bluster, more people would respect them for it. I highly doubt that any Tory will ever admit it though, as they know they'll be sacked.
To all our resident EXPERTS on the daily statistics update I ask the following question. On all the news programmes they all say “another ??? Have died with Covid19,” now my question is as follows, have died with Covid 19, now does that mean they died with it along with underlying conditions that would eventually kill them or died of Covid 19 itself as the main cause of death. I ask this because they don’t actually say DIED OF CORONAVIRUS all the time, only occasionally, the norm appears to be “DIED WITH COVID19” Any of our resident experts on Government statistics able to explain the difference, or is it just the mainstream media’s usual play on words to suite their lying and fake news agenda to keep us guessing.
We’re all going to die of something at some point, Turkish. A death is a death if it robs someone of a week or ten years.
Why does it matter to you Turkish ? Are u analysing all daily deaths and putting them in relevant columns for your own entertainment? Shed loads of people are dying unnecessarily have u got a column for this as well?
There was a discussion about this very point on the radio this morning. Apparently, "with" COVID-19 indicates that it was either the primary or secondary cause of death. For them to report "of" COVID-19, they would have to perform autopsies and establish Corona Virus as the primary cause. I am sure our medical experts here can confirm that because we are not carrying out autopsies on every individual it is safer to report as "with COVID-19"
I did explain this the other day. Although I have also explained where my knowledge comes from. I am not a medical expert. Coronavirus itself is not a killer, what it does is creates a pathway for other symptoms. It weakens the internal organs. It weakens the immunity of everyone who catches it. It attacks the respiratory system and allows other illnesses to kill the infectee. So, people will die of lung failure caused by covid-19, liver failure, caused by covid-19 and one of the most common pneumonia caused by covid-19. It will usually appear on the death certificate of the deceased as a "secondary" cause but without its presence they probably would have had nothing to worry about. Clear?
My work in no way makes me an expert in the field but does require me analysing factors when reporting, seeing areas for improvement and putting action plans in place. even a basic look at the government’s handling shows how badly the uk was ill equipped despite previous studies. How despite the wealth of information due to the virus sweeping through other nations prior the uk acted unbelievably slowly, unclear communication, weak leadership, criminal negligence in regards to conflict of interest when sourcing equipment... well I could go on but that’s enough. Don’t get me wrong no government would get it all right and They should be criticised accordingly. Just believe there have been way too many **** ups from the uks current lot.
Not sure mate it's difficult to navigate around the government statistics due to them usually being untrue.
To all our resident experts on the resident experts, do you think they have enough expertise to be experts and to reside here.
Correct me if I'm wrong but are we in the 5th or 6th week of lockdown???? When is this death rate going to come down? It seems around my local town that the lockdown has been lifted. Groups of teenagers, a group of cyclists off their bikes mingling and chatting (well over 10).
When I’m out on my runs I’ve noticed the traffic on the roads have gone up massively in the last few weeks as well
I asked a honest question in honesty and of course from your reply I gather that you don’t have a clue what the question was and I don’t put deaths in columns for my “own entertainment “ you idiot, yet another on here assuming things about another member without knowing them or having met them. And I’ll tell you why it matters, I was trying to establish if all deaths are put down as Covid19 deaths or those with underlying issues are put down as with also having Covid19 as a contributing issue, and how they are achieving the figures from each without autopsies being done in all cases. Happy now Mr Pedantic.
