Yes, it does tell you everything you need to know

It tells you that, if you found a tinker and fitted them with electrodes that would trigger every time they swore, they would be more likely to give a tinker's cuss about what you think than I do

I have had disagreements on the Spurs board but I am genuinely confused at why you are so aggressive to @KingHotspur.

Think you either need to simply ignore him or take a break mate...the aggro is making this place unpleasant tbh...and it has come from you.

This place works cos there are rules and people abide by them. I like it here, it is good for my head...can't talk for anyone but me but I would hate this to become a free for all.

I am for debate but you have gone way over a line...way more than DCG did...and I agreed with them being banned for destroying so many good debates.
    Just my view like.

As I said a page or so back, I'm just done with a section of Spurs fans this season, and the fact that in the space of a day he's been running the gamut of literally every bad faith argument that's been doing to rounds on Twitter for eighteen months (i.e. saying we should emulate the spending of teams with vastly more money than we have, saying we haven't spent money when we have, ****ting on signings such as Wanyama because we didn't pay whatever arbitrary figure they have in their head for them and ignoring everything they did on the pitch) and that's what caused the initial response because I am just so done with that ****

Did I go overboard calling him a cretin? Probably, but it's like what I said to Spurlock about how some people seem to support a version of Spurs that doesn't exist, one with the bottomless wealth of PSG and the prestige of Barca, when the reality is that we simply aren't yet so many fans have this baffling belief that we are and Levy's refusing to spend the billions of pounds of spare cash sloshing around the club that we don't have which is why the fanbase is so goddamn toxic this season

To be honest, the stuff Spurlock's been posting in response is what's actually pissed me off me off, because not only is he regurgitating the same crap several of us have debunked three, four, five, six times already this season, but the fact he's holding up D.G.C as some beacon of virtue and not some ****poster who harassed people via the PM system as well as falsely accusing me of bullying him off the boards even though it's been clearly established that he was banned is Trumpian garbage at its worst

This season reminds me of the "Push and Run" team of the early 1950's when that team got old together and they kept playing the same players, apart from injuries....then Spurs went crazy and beat Arsenal for Danny Blanchflower. Spurs paid Villa 30,000.I believe Arsenal wouldn't go over 28,000!
    (Suddenly,Mbappe comes to mind. I know.We can't afford him..........!!!!?)

I think we should feel free to air our views but not be abusive.
I have apologised if I have overstepped the line and think you could too.
I think @Spurlock is fasting so may have been angrier than he would normally be...might be wrong and apologies to @Spurlock if I am speaking out of line...he disagrees strongly with me about the spending issue but never reacts badly to me.
I genuinely think it was calling @KingHotspur a cretin that sparked it.
King is another I have disagreed with but it has never got like this.

When I first joined here in 2011/12ish Arsenal and Chelsea had healthy and active boards but they have both been dead for at least 4 years cos they became places that were too unpleasant to bother with.
For me personally this place is too good to lose that so we need to not let it turn into an internet version of the wild west imo.

It's a myriad of issues all dogpiling onto the team at once
    - Players getting old, notably Verts and Alderweireld
    - Players having their edge blunted due to prior injuries, especially Dele and Dier
    - Players who need bedding in being injured before they could get a run of games, with Lo Celso the obvious example but Sessegnon too
    - Players expected to be a major part of the rebuild being injured or lacking form...okay, that's just Ndombele at various points since October
    - Players who can actually play as a DM not being in the squad

Some of that we can address, for example in terms of Verts and Toby we planned for that the summer we signed Sanchez and Foyth and we've also got Tanganga coming through, while - and I know this is a crap thing to say - the players who clearly needed a rest like Dele, Dier and Davies have been afforded one by lockdown and the Euros being postponed

On the other hand, when it comes to refreshing the squad, there's various other moving parts to consider - and realistically we need a repeat of the Bergwijn transfer where we identified a player we needed who was both a damn good player and not on the radar of other clubs, quietly began negotiations and we got the deal wrapped up pretty damn quick...or, to put it another way, the opposite of our usual months-long transfer sagas we got with Alderweireld, Lo Celso and Ndombele to name but three

He still does a superb job of being our Chief scout tho...credit where credit is due

You’re right I was Fasting but that had nothing to do with it <whistle>

    Much love to all X

OK can we move on from the current spat. @humanbeingincroydon Consider this a public warning. You have gone beyond the limits expected on the Spurs board the fact that you are one of the founder posters on Spurs not606 is the reason you have been given a chance to reign yourself in. We all have disagreements that is to large extent what the site is about. We would not last long if we all agreed all the time BUT we have set a simple standard that has worked well and made SPURS not606 one of the successful boards on not606. You can hurl abuse at teams or even players ,within reason, but what you cannot do is abuse posters. This is a well known rule and we will continue to enforce it. Take note now HBIC because any further incidents will result in a ban.

To all the other posters not only just those who were the subject of the abuse please let this argument drop and lets get back to discussing Football, Politics, Covid, or any other subject that takes your fancy and lets simply keep it polite. Thank you.

He's just upset that he got furloughed

Something to do with the club not needing somebody to serve burgers at the moment...

The NFL has announced that there will be no international games next season, meaning that the two games which were due to be staged at our stadium (as well as the two scheduled for Wembley and one at the Estadio Azteca, because somebody's trying to make the NFL a thing in Mexico now) will instead be played in whichever combination of Arizona, Atlanta, Jacksonville (obviously) and Miami will be hosting those respective games

The obvious knock-on effect of this is that we're going to be hit in the pocket, with it widely estimated that we'll lose out on £4m of income off the back of this - and, in case somebody is curious, the estimated figure we make for Premier League games is around £800k, so we make the same money for two NFL games that we do for five Premier League games, and this is supposedly without including concession sales

The obvious questions which haven't been answered yet are
a.) Is there a make-good in place to cover this in the event of it being possible to stage NFL games a couple of years from now
b.) Does the club have any insurance to cover the possibility of the NFL golden goose not laying an egg

Hopefully when answers come, they aren't in another tweet featuring The Second Stadium Pic of DOOOOOOOOOOOOM...
