One major flat in your idea. You say there’s no point in playing without crowds. They’re already preparing for all next season behind closed doors so no point in waiting to finish this one anymore

They are not preparing anything Eire, they are suggesting loads of different scenarios but only premiership teams would survive with no crowds, the rest of the league would fold.

Makes no difference. Health specialists/advisors or whatever to the government will decide ultimately when people can again sit side by side at a football match, football won’t

Have to agree. I've watched matches with the sound off (usually because of sh1te, dodgy links) & it's terrible. Zero atmosphere. Even when we win. You're right - it's not football as we know it, but it might be what we'll have to get used to for a while.

I've been advocating your proposed schedule for a while now. It's actually a Godsend for the authorities to work in the WC dates they've foolishly landed us with. Seems they're even ignoring this gift horse too. Can't be enough money in it for them.

If the specialists/advisors say people can return to work on overcrowded trains/buses then people can crowd into football stadiums.
I can see football restarting with something like 10,000 tickets available in a forty thousand stadium and gradually upping the numbers over the season provided it doesn’t all start again.

Wonder if they'd object to us being there if we were wearing hazmat suits? Not as expensive as you think .... https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00MOKMXPE/?tag=not606-21

Kinda difficult to organise when you've got over 21,000 season tickets & 40000 Gold Memberships.

It would be a nightmare for sure Whitejock but if near to 10,000 were able to attend it would be better than none at all.

You, me Shako and Olof if the timing’s right, daughters and sons suitably socially distanced outside the shop in Grafton St with the biggest telly in the window for the first game back in the PL.

    BYOB.

Be easier for you to pop down to ER than to go to Reading to stand outside.

Or one could go and cause trouble outside Millwall games and cause them to have some points deducted? Just a thought <whistle>

I think the West Yorkshire postcodes of those arrested would give the game away <cheers>
