Can’t be arsed with it myself lately. I’ve had two shaves in the last nine weeks.
I like to think I look rugged.
In reality, I look like Catweazle on a bad day.

So, Smug, did you not brush your teeth until you were 14 or have you not brushed them for the last 14 years <yikes>

I switched to electric grooming kit a few year back, I’m not a beard liker it gets a number 1 all over while I take my morning piss.

done in 30 seconds, always exact same length, ideal.

Hate shaving, proper chore, and I'm ****e at it. I always find a clump or two of hair long after I've left the bathroom.

Is it just me or anyone else experiencing exponential hair growth since the lock- down ? My eyebrows and ear hair resemble tumble weed after few days of neglect<cool>. Having to purchase a better barber clipper too, as I've worn out my Wahl...:emoticon-0183-swear

With some embarrassment:embarrassed: I confess to being in the process of growing a beard.

The younger members of the family started it, (specially the men), so I thought I should join in.

    It's not the first time.
I had a full beard over thirty years ago and before that, in the sixties, while serving overseas, it was a handlebar moustache.

Now the morning shave consists of a neck job and under lower lip. Takes about twenty seconds on a slow day.

    And what's the overall effect?
I look like a tramp having a bad day.
    And it's starting to itch.

Still, it give you something to do.:emoticon-0102-bigsm

    PS
    I need a haircut too.
My last number four all over was more than a couple of months ago.
Still, it covers the bald spot.

I don't shave every day but usually 2-3 times a week, I actually enjoy the ritual, making up a soap dish, wetting my face, brushing the soap on in circles to create a lather then a nice single glide over with an old type safety razor. Wiping my face of excess soap with a face towel. Really do enjoy it, at the moment anything that gives me some normality is a good thing.
Not sure a guide dog could help although if Smug wants to be the first to try it out I keenly await his findings. Whatever you do, don't let fido loose with a cut throat razor.
We should do a rogues gallery, a lockdown version, or maybe not as my hair is looking a bit tatty mind and with it being virtually all white now it looks scruffy if it's not well kept.

I only once tried a beard , it was patchy and a mess so haven’t ever since . But I wouldn’t at the moment anyway , I don’t know how true accurate it is , but sure I heard that one can interfere with a good tight fit for an oxygen mask

I go through the regular process. Go without a shave for a week and think I look good. Decide that I'm going to grow a beard. Get to the 3 weeks mark and it's still patchy on the cheeks and I look like a scruff with a massive neck beard. Then I shave it off and go through it again. One day it will grow in majestically, I'm only 35 so there's still time <laugh>

It certainly interferes with the fit of my CPAP mask.

I have to shave at least every third day or else when I move in my sleep the hissing of escaping air wakes me up.

I just use clippers, shaved head and a short beard with a fade. Just need a razor every other day to neaten my neck up, I used to wet shave every day and I don't miss it. Not to mention the price of razor blades you'd think they were made from 24 carat gold.

I shave every day that I have to work which is four days out of every seven. On the days that I’m off I usually let it grow unless me and Mrs EJK are going out somewhere. I’m not a fan of beards in general. I personally think they look a bit scruffy and untidy. I use the double edged blades with a Merkur razor, Work at the moment have banned the growing of them and ordered everyone who had one to shave them off. I also have a head shave every three days or so using a Skullshaver (baldys of the board get one - you won’t regret it).

Gave myself a haircut but had a shave first.

Schoolboy error. I ****ed up the hair with clippers and really need a beard to make it look like I’m a hipster and meant to do it <laugh>

Last time I had a proper shave Sunderland were FA Cup holders.
I haven't been to a barbers for twenty years.
Not much for them to play with these days anyway.

I've been cutting my own hair, it's gone ok. I probably could do with a bit of a tidy up on top but I've got the basics of a 1-3 fade right on the back and sides and that pretty much lets you get away with anything.

My lass is zero help though. That's my tip lads, get yourself shacked up with a hairdresser, not an accountant.

Oh and I've grown the beard a bit more than usual, probably going to let it go a bit longer while I don't have to do much in person.
