I have to say that I doubt that I will be going back to the KCOM next year never mind next season.
I may be able to have some limited external contact during this summer, but if my wife has any treatment that affects her immune system, that’s me back in isolation.
If that is the situation, then I can’t see me ever going back into the stadium.

If he doesn't want to play, that's up to him, I wouldn't force him to, but that doesn't change what I said, he's more likely to pick up the virus pushing a supermarket trolley, than he is playing football against a load of blokes who've been repeatedly tested and found to not be infected.

Anyway, today is UK Thank a Teacher Day, May have passed some of you by? So, I’d like to thank each and everyone of you for your hard work in School and beyond, during these strange times, not just today but for every other day also. But only for those who have written, checked & uploaded all Year 10 reports. Obvs. The rest of you need to get a grip, sort yourselves out ASAFP. Thanks.

    For clarity, feasible, obvs.

Bar the ones who have tested positive at his club....

Football is just an extra unnecessary hassle and risk that is just not needed. It will cause problems that just aren't needed ATM

ask clubs to agree to the outcome of a vote. take a vote. no court cases.

watford's three players will get over it. restart can be july. or november. or february. whenever they're all happy to resume.

Premier League club owners voted unanimously to restart the season and Championship managers voted unanimously in favour of completing the season, there has been no Championship owners vote as far as I'm aware, but it's been widely reported that the vast majority want to see the season played to a conclusion.

There's probably a few other owners who are desperate for some revenue, given their massive debts

There will be some absolutely desperate for money coming in, but on the other hand there will certainly be some that would be happy to see the season void

Would appreciate an in depth appraisal of Kurdish curry sauce if possible...viscosity, sultana content, etc. You know that sort of important information. :emoticon-0148-yes:

The government did a bang up job of scaring everyone to get them to comply with their guidelines and requests to stay at home, social distance etc. Now they've painted themselves in a corner with the folk that have been thoroughly scared.

I don't mean folk like TOM and his missus, they've got a damn good reason to be wary of crowds until a vaccine is available. But as he said upthread - this was all about managing NHS capacity, not stopping the "generally healthy" majority getting it altogether.

Footballers are in danger of losing the public if they want to get different treatment - there's many ordinary folk lost their jobs or businesses and who don't get paid their salary. Football as a business should operate on the same rules as the rest of us - assess the risks, make as many things as socially distant as possible - easy to do for an outdoors sport - and come to an agreement with your employees if they are either vulnerable themselves (Angus McDonald comes to mind) or have a vulnerable member of their household. If you can go and play a tennis match with your spouse, you should be able to train and play with 21 other players who have been repeatedly tested and cleared.

Having said that, I'm a City fan that happens to agree with Ehab that this season needs to be ended now or voided or whatever, and we start again in August, probably behind closed doors to start with. Open the transfer window on 1st June and have an extended pre-season training period to get everyones heads back into the game.

When making a comparison between world leaders, I would rather have the fool called Trump as UK Prime Minister, than the buffoon Johnson as President of the USA, which is a little like Indian Biryani and Kurdich Biryani, one is nuttier than the other, but leaves a bad taste in the mouth. As for sultana's, read bluebottles, if its in a polystyrene cup of curry sauce and you think its a sultana, vote Trump.

Personally I don't do politics or curry sauce.

Exactly, they may have to stop next season AGAIN! They may not be able to start next season in August anyway! So just finish this one, however long it takes!

In France, horse racing commenced again 2 weeks ago... NOW, the French government have told the Paris tracks to close and relocate the meetings to other tracks as the virus is still circulating in the capital....

We probably will mostly be back before the games
However we’ll be back having to socially distance and some people who can’t do that in their job will have lost their jobs.
None of us will have had the option to have those restrictions on us lifted by being regularly tested because none of us mere mortals can get tested unless we have symptoms, and even if we did it privately the restrictions would stay anyway.
So while I agree with you that it is fairly low risk for them, I still think it’s not right for people who are having their lives changed negatively by restrictions to be watchIng rich people with their arms round each other jostling at corners.
I realise people might want to, but it just sticks in the throat really.
