They are both thoroughly disreputable, albeit in different ways. We will be well rid of the both of them.
Latest from CL is that someone asked Mihail if this was Nimer selling his 65% shareholding, leaving Mouthall at the Valley. Mihail responded that Southall will be bought out, and will receive 35p for his shares. In itself, it's so close to what we want that I'm suspicious, but fingers crossed. There is always the question of who bought the club and how we get RD to sell his part at a reasonable price. But one step at a time.
Good news at Charlton never turns out to be what it seems. Matt Southall being forced to sell his share of CAFC for 35p? Too good to be true. And you can be certain Nimer did not sell his share of the Club for 65p. Mihail is an absolute nobody. There is no good reason to believe anything he says.
I know nothing about share issues for this type of purchase, but it’s being reported by others that Southall shares may be sold under something called “drag along” by the majority shareholding company? If this is the case, he will undoubtedly try to block the sale (again being reported).
Yeah, and bdsides, who would expect such a good package of news to be true - it hasn't worked that way for decades. If Nimer sells to another chancer next week, and he and Southall get tousands of pounds as a reward, Mihal will vanish .ike a genie going back into his bottle, and this Will all be meaningless. I hate to believe anything good these days, it just leads to sadness later.
Here's a historical question; Assuming the newest owners keep Lee Bowyer in his job, Will Bowyer be the first Charlton Manager in the Club's history to serve under THREE different ownerships? Off the top of my head I can't think of another one.
That was good of Panorama Nice to see communications are still as good as ever. The only information we ever get anymore is from various authorities investigating misdemeanors or criminal activity.
Just been told that Bassini is now off the table as he wanted Southall reinstated before signing anything off. Also, the other party to have shown interest is a consortium headed by Richard Murray, with Duchatelet still involved. Simon Jordan also part of consortium.
Murray has been advised that RD still involved will not sit well with most fans, but Simon Jordan will not sit well with any!!
Panorama are a 65% shareholder in ESI who are 100% shareholders in CAFC Ltd.... the two Romanians are Directors of CAFC Ltd and I think Nimer is only a non-exec Director of CAFC
You would be wrong there TC.... in fact Jordan is very popular with CAFC fans (if Twitter is anything to go by) because he has defended the Charlton fans (on Talkshite) against the Belgian's rantings and the ESI debacle Jordan is FAR more popular with Charlton fans over Judas Murray.
I thought you meant Panorana the investigative TV show. Disappointed to hear it's just another bunch of crooks.
