What was the most memorable present you got when you were younger.

I remember when I was 8 or 9, I got a bigtrax. I was so excited. It looked absolutely amazing on TV, and was supposed to be revolutionary. I must have burnt out the engine within a few days.

pool table, only a small second hand one, which granted had no legs, but i'd prop that mother up on some books and play floor level, slightly uneven, pool for hours and hours back in the day. I can still remember the joy when I first managed to screw a ball back......good times

johnny 7 gun. What you absalutely needed to be one man army back in the day. After many hints and much begging I got...........a chitty chitty bang bang. Not quite the same thing. No where near the fire power. The sense of disapointment still haunts:emoticon-0105-wink:

    Indeed it is.

If it was boxed you could get around £700-900.

My favourite Xmas present was a WWF wrestling ring with a load of wrestlers.

Scalextric was amazing, though the tracks kept coming apart, I kept coming off on the corners

A lump of coal and a clip round the ear.

    Joking of course.

I got a small sized goal for christmas, one of them small portable ones you can put in the street/ park or garden. Used to lark about all the time in it. Until i broke the net. Wasn't fun after that as i had to go get the ball back all the time.

Cockney, I`ve got that exact Scalextric! Mini Rallye-Cross it was called, from late 70`s. Still got the cars and everything in the loft.

That was a bday present so didnt class it in the fave Christmas list.

Subbuteo. Got hundreds of hours of fun. Broke the legs on all my Leeds team from use. Funny thing, every time I stuck them back with superglue, the seemed to get a little shorter. Eventually wound up with a team of midgets
