now I’m quite cynical(I know)...after the Allams write to the EFL to try and get the season ended we get two cases of covid at the club....I’m just wondering wether the club did the tests or an independent body did...would the boy blunder dare lie about virus tests for his own gain? Just seemed odd that we had the only positive cases and they do bend the truth now and then.
I’ve no idea if this is a weird coincidence or something more sinister. But if the club have concocted these positive tests (I note that both affected individuals are asymptomatic) then they will be found out and they will be docked points. Which probably isn’t what Ehab was trying to achieve.
2 out of a 1000 (1) or so test positive in the EFL equates to Roughly the ONS estimate 2) for the general population (1) https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/52789239 2) https://www.ons.gov.uk/peoplepopula...#number-of-people-in-england-who-had-covid-19
Thats why im asking wether they did their own or wether it was an official tester from the league. Because if it was off their own back they could say what they like and not name them because of patient confidentiality
They are. The EFL said they would pay, then back tracked when it was passed and every club must test their own staff/players twice a day at £250 per test.
Reading this straight from finishing a cryptic crossword, I thought his post was an anagram of his user name.
Surely even the Allam's are not daft enough to doctor results. Maybe being a doctor, Dr Allam felt capable of carrying them out himself?
Other fans are looking at the results as fake (in truth, with our owners, we just don’t know) but to flip the coin: if the tests are done in-house and can potentially be doctored (I’m not saying anybody’s are), there could be clubs that do want to continue the league that could get positive results and tell the player to lay low for a while to recover.
