I think it was and yes he did. Iggy has always sang/performed with more feeling (to me anyway). Thanks Dave
Well, summat good's come out of this thread afterall . A decent cover - I'll check out more of their stuff.
not quite my genre. however, i have seen bauhaus, joy division, and the damned. and i own more mazzy star than anyone i know. nevertheless, this was gothic before anyone on the forum:
i'd no idea pasadena was gothic! was one of the sitcoms set there? rings a faint bell. i've a friend who occastionally amuses himself by testing my musical knowledge to the extremes. he had a recording and i was asked to identify the artists. i twigged early on that the backing was by the temperance seven and after a few reruns of the track surprised myself by indentifying the singer as peter sellers.
I had no idea NVB had anything to do with Gothic either. In fact, I'm not sure what Gothic music incorporates as a genre. Strange clothing/makeup/stage & video design fads. Can't see it having any musical definition... ...other than some predilection to death. Black Adder like ? Not that I dislike it ! http://www.whatisgoth.com/pages/Goth-Music.html In which case these are Goth ?
The Munsters maybe - who knows. Probably L.A. - same state however. One of the producers may have lived in Pasadena !
