Thought she was going back to Africa because of Brexit, or have I got the wrong women?

Well, you can see this, I can see this, most of the rest of the world except those wearing special blinkers can see this, but there is the theory is that if you ignore it it will go away. It’s what blokes do with the early signs of a serious illness, like cancer. And it looks like the body politic is now riddled with cancer and we have collectively decided not to treat it.

I’m afraid that you are wrong about availability of tests for those in the core of government Beth. The daughters of cabinet ministers were also eligible. Apparently.

Mate, as has been said before, we ain’t gonna change each other’s minds.
The truth is, and we ALL know it if we are honest about it, is that he broke the rules, his story is a crock of **** and he should of done the right thing and resigned.

You can argue the case all you want but facts are facts...

I am not wrong Stan, Dominic said it plainly yesterday; "I was not tested as there were no tests for government advisors". This was said plainly even though he had sat in the cabinent room with several others who had Covid....Boris, Hancock etc

He said he and his wife had not been tested but his son had been at Durham hospital.
Again an odd practice, notto test his wife at that point....and as other said it was odd there were no taxis so he had to pick up his wife and son the next day, even though he was so ill. Surely that was what the family support was for, which he says he never used.
Odd behaviour going all that way and not using it except for shopping which Tesco's and Ocado do quite well.

Well off now to check if you are all right about Thame outdoor market being open.

I think his issues are that his son doesn’t tolerate people well, and be fair we would all like to do things differently but when it comes to my child, I will defend my right to protect her till my last breath as no doubt many on here would as well.
It’s just my opinion it’s beginning to look like not so much about what was or wasn’t done by Cummings but more about Cummings himself, a vengeful press doing their best to ruin someone for who he is rather than what he did, the press especially the left leaning and those that backed remain appear to have an axe to grind against him and will not stop now they have their teeth into him, and as for the trip to Barnhard castle allegedly to celebrate his wife’s birthday, I think yet again the press are making a mountain out of a small molehill not because of why but again of who.

To me, it could have been anyone. The fact that it's the man who helped implement the ****ing rules makes it worse. It's all about the WHY and not the WHO. C'mon you know this stinks to high heaven. It's a load of ****e. Regardless of whether he should go or not, regardless of party politics, you know this is a complete cock and bull story.

The strange thing with cummings - in my experience of working with autistic kids for 7 years, is that they like routine. They do find social gatherings difficult so why take him from the house in the first place? cummings should have self isolated in a separate room and this episode would not have happened, protected his child and wife.To be honest, he would probably have come out of this with some dignity rather than i'm "special and the rules don't apply to me". However if you make the rules you can interpret them as you want.
Still the press all gathered around him when he got into his car yesterday....social distancing...yeah right

But are the facts The facts or are they the actual facts this is the question, are the facts just the facts because the vengeful press say they are, I mean should I resign because I used my works van to go to B&Q last week and nipped to the father in laws to check on him as he is on the vulnerable list just as Cummings son is and because under the rules you can or is it because I’m an unknown person of no interest to the press or is it because he did about 200 miles more than me.
And yes we probably won’t ever agree. :emoticon-0103-cool:

I know everyone is fed up with the lock down, the fact that our "normal" freedoms and choices have been taken away but surely the short term pan to get through this is worth it as to avoid a second wave.

I thought Cummings was a Brexit advisor and had no input on the lockdown , please feel free to post proof to correct me.
And wether it’s a cock and bull story or not is irrelevant, it’s the hounding by a vengeful press that hate him that grates my cheese.

It grates my cheese when anybody is hounded by the press be they right or wrong, the press are out of control and since the phone tapping scandal should in reality be on a very, very short leash

Ok mate. I'm glad you acknowledge that as what they did to that pair was scandalous yet not many were half as vocal as they are when an unelected beurocrat gets hounded.
