Eton, Harrow, MT, HA, and the like first, state schools can open after they've proven it's safe.

The difference is there is no far left teaching unions involved in public schools so the interests of the children can come first.

??? Confused by your comment as the unions are trying to stand up for the health of the children and teachers and delay the opening rightly so whilst private and public schools are choosing not to open until the Autumn with no pressure.

If only that were true, These unions are highly political and let their far left wing politics interfere with normal safety decisions.

Is Dean Ashton upset Clev wants to comeback and play - thinking its just "what we want to hear" and he hasn't thought about the general situation.

    https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/talk...ford-tom-cleverley-premier-league-return/amp/

Is he suggesting it's an insult to Troy to have a different view?

Just shows why players cannot win or have an opinion really..

Had he said no we shouldn't play we'd have the usual crowd criticising him. on Twitter etc.

I see you continue to politicise at every turn...
.. And people die.... That is the real reason why... Meanwhile the public schools can make their own choices without political meddling based on human concerns

Pure spin... No basis in fact.. If it were not for unions health and safety would have much less consideration..
Can you not stop this political rhetoric?

Maybe if a couple of BAME Liverpool players became ill from the virus they might think "Ohhh is the title really that important" but as long as it is only players and staff from little unimportant clubs like Watford and Bournemouth the ex Liverpool players will be demanding that Liverpool win the title no matter what it costs

And when they do win the title they'll rest players so they won't care if people are missing.

Its probably why the big teams aren't that fussed - they can cope with one or two players not available.

Then you get Sheffield United and Wolves doing well in the league - and cups so they won't want the season to end either.

According to French news, who appear to have got the story from the Sun, Aaron Ramsdale, the Bournemouth goalkeeper is the one to have tested positive from there.

Douglas Ross is the first MP to be an assistant referee in Iceland v Albania and resign from the government in protest about an illicit trip to Barnard Castle. Does he want to help his football or political career?

Good question - he's not well regarded in either field. I suppose all matchday officials must expect flak from fans, but he seems to attract more than most.
His constituency is the next one along from here and, like me, he'll be well aware of the rumblings of disaffection from the voters there. His majority in December was slim - around 500+ from memory - and I'd guess it has already evaporated, so I see his resignation statement as a desperate stunt to win back support. The annoying thing is that, if he were to stand down as an MP, he would have a guaranteed route back into Holyrood next year. He could simply have the party put his name on its Regional List and get in regardless of how few votes the party attracts - which is how 24 of the Tory 31 MSPs were elected.

His job as an MP is secure for almost five years, that gives him plenty of time to brush up on his refereeing skills.

Well, they have had 2 tests now and are working and living within their own bubble so I think that is ok. Watford also went the extra step of testing the families so the bubble is secure.

Gomes joining Cleverley in putting a put of maybe unintentional pressure on Deeney to come back.

We don't want to force Troy to return if his minds are on other things.

We do have other strikers - now if only they could stay fit and find some form.
