It's ok Ristac... no-one is questioning your masculinity. It's a modern liberal world. If you're a metrosexual with an interest in hair colouring it's ok. Really.

I'll tell you after they've happened and then edit my posts to prove I knew they were going to happen before they happened.

Just in case anyone missed it during all the other crap.

    https://fullfact.org/health/cummings-blog-coronavirus/

Mr Cummings said during his press interview on Monday 25 May: “For years I’ve warned of the dangers of pandemics. Last year I wrote about the possible threat of coronaviruses and the urgent need for planning.”

the website’s sitemap information. This shows that this particular blog post appears to have been edited on 14 April 2020.
Prior to this, his blog made no mention of coronaviruses.

Like you say, if he just came out and said the trip was a mistake I think most people (or at least those who supported the Tory government) would have sympathy for him. The constant lying and trying to change history hasn't made him come out of this very well.

Yeh I saw that. It’s a red herring anyway. Who cares if he predicted it... his job was to advise what to do about it when it happened. But if he did warn of it, and he is chief adviser to the PM why didn't he make sure we were better prepared?

Anyone with any understanding of the topic knows he was promoting the herd immunity strategy and then had an epithany when he realised the death toll was going to be way higher than he thought. Now he pitches himself as the king of lockdown. He's a slippery weasel.

To add to my last post if Scots want independence then give them it and stick some borders up. Perhaps they can find something new to go on about next 300 years.

Top of the league largest population in the U.K.which is why we let wee Jimmy have her way. It makes her think she is the leader of something important but in fact it's just a haggis Republic.

Perhaps to you, but I haven't a clue what point you've apparently made. Or are you saying that the english are a race?

Sky has only just started covering this one. Let’s see how they report it.. My guess is it will receive a fraction of the attention compared to Cummings despite being 100x worse

It won’t be 100 times worse that Cheltenham and Atletico Madrid. If you want to talk blood on their hands, compare apples with apples.

Cummings’s arrogant disregard for the legally-enforceable instruction to “Stay home, stay safe” is a separate abomination with the only comparable action in Scotland
leading to the resignation/sacking of Catherine Calderwood, and rightly so.

Boris and Cummings is saying f*** you plebs to the entire population and the Tory sheep are lapping it up. <whistle>

I'm putting England first as the Scots have their own interests top of the agenda.

To be fair Davy. It appears to have been a wake up call for some Tory voters. The majority think he broke the rules and should go according to the polls. But love is blind for some... or at the very least least in need of a drive out for an eye test

Rugby also went ahead the weekend of Cheltenham, there wasn’t a lock down in place. There is a good cause for argument was the lock down too late, should it have happened sooner, I won’t dispute that.

Sturgeon failed to track down everyone at the Nike event, it was ground zero for Scotland.

Cummings wanted the back up of child care for his 4yr old son. I don’t believe he did anything wrong in that. I do believe he was wrong Travelling and blaming testing his eyes, he should be fined for that but not sacked.

Starmer today is calling for Cummings to be sacked, what about Tahir Ali and Stephen Kinnock?

If you or anyone else truly believes the witch hunt fits the crime then we’ll have to agree to disagree, personally this is remoaners being fuelled by biased media like Beth Rigby and Piers Morgan

Ristac I think many would be prepared to cut him some slack over heading north from a worried parent perspective - were it not for the fact that they were rules he admits he campaigned for and that he expected others to follow.

As for the eye test. If it’s true then he endangered his family and other road users. But it’s too ridiculous to be true isn’t it? He took his mrs out for a drive and walk in the country on her birthday. Again flaunting his own rules which is why he won’t admit it. Instead he lies on camera to the whole country. Whether he should be sacked for flaunting the rules is one thing, whether he should go for spinning such an embarrassing yarn is beyond question for me. Hypocrite and liar.

As for labour lockdown breakers they should face action too... but they're not in power, aren't the pm's chief advisor and havent lied about it in an address to the nation.

And the cheap remainers shot? You're better than that. The majority of leave voters want him out too, the savaging from the press is coming from the Tory media too. He's high profile so the story is high profile.

Look at the figures in the poll I posted
