    You know what it is mate. My mother is 86 year old and she believes what she hears from the BBC and all she goes on about is the scientists being right. If between all the top scientific brains on the planet can't agree and the government are saying on BBC , then f**k it up, what chance has my mother, or worse people who have no one to talk to got. I'm trying to contain myself with it all, but my p**s is boiling.

    No mate not fu**ing one. The home our lass works in went into lockdown 3 weeks before the official lockdown. All of the residents and staff got tested last week, over 100 of them. And guess what, not 1 person had it, and none have had it in the past. Great relief all round. To me that is a great indicator that IF the government had looked at what was happening abroad and introduced the lockdown earlier there,d be thousands of families wouldn't be going through the grief they are now.

    To be fair I think he did get this decision right ...

    ... he said 'by the end of the month' so that'll be tomorrow.

    Boris Johnson told the nation on Sunday: “To prevent reinfection from abroad, I am serving notice that it will soon be the time to impose quarantine on people coming into this country by air.”

    Will be surprised if we see him again at these press conferences. The temerity of the man to not toe the party line.

    215 deaths reported in the last 24 hours, a weekly average of around 2,000 but hey let's reduce the lockdown measures

    There is a distinct possibility that the "spare cottage" that DC stayed in has not had planning permission to be built nor is any council tax paid on it. I wonder if this is just a minor oversight by him.

    Is there no end to this omnishambles? Bad enough that they are all useless at their jobs which has led to unnecessary suffering and deaths. Now they have been proved to be hypocrites and liars as well. Absolute disgrace to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. I am a socialist and disliked Winston Churchill because of his attitude to the miners and working class in general, but he was exactly what was needed in a time of crisis in WW2. The current lot of Tories are not only incompetent, hypocritical liars, they are weak as piss as well. Churchill wouldn't have had an adviser like Cummings but if he did, and he had done something wrong, he would have called him into his office and gave him the option to resign or he would sack him.

    Dickheads;

    Hundreds of people were at an unlicensed party in east London, breaching lockdown rules.

    Met Police officers were called to Springfield Estate in Clapton at about 21:00 BST where a large number of people had gathered.

    Footage shows that a DJ booth was set up, and those who attended were not socially distancing by keeping two metres apart.

    A small number of arrests were made for various offences and a Taser was used on one person, who was arrested.

    Offences included assault of an emergency worker and breach of the peace.

    Seems that people attending beaches have no regard for the safe distance rules.
