Except it’s a groundbreaking piece of cinema, a ****ing masterpiece in fact. But apart from that, yeah.
I’m not sure if you’re being deliberately controversial, or are in fact completely ****ing clueless. Have you actually seen the film? I had this style over substance argument with ER earlier, are you in fact morphing into him? For the record, it’s the ****ing movies. Style is everything, and wtf does substance even mean? Would you watch a poorly shot movie with dull looking actors, **** dialogue, and an asinine soundtrack? No you ****ing wouldn’t, you want the movie and the actors to look good, you want sharp snappy dialogue, memorable tunes, wit, attitude, and swagger. With Pulp Fiction you get all that, plus a plot that keeps you guessing days after you’ve left the Cinema. It should be in any reasonably intelligent movie fan’s Top 10. You probably like Star Wars ffs.
Pulp Fiction, The Shawshank Redemption, The Usual Suspects, Tombstone, Dumb and Dumber should be in everybody's top 5 films. FACT.
ive not seen tombstone Just downloaded that citizen Kane affa sky. Hopefully lives up to its reputation ftp
Just finished watching A Man For All Seasons. Cracking script, great cast - at least two Redgraves - and a reminder that Britain once had a film industry worthy of the name.
