Best Driver: Jenson Button Worst Driver: Nobody was particulary bad Best Rookie: Bruno Senna Best Team: Red Bull unfortunately (I'm a Ferrari Fan) Worst Team: Renault Best Overtake: Webber on Alonso. Funniest-moment: post-race tension between Massa and Hamilton Most Surprising Result: Heikki's Lotus didn't caught fire. Least Surprising Result: Red Bull Dominating. Special Mention to: Senna, Di Resta, Schumi, Hamilton, webber and Button.. Awesome performances but with varying end result. Race Rating: 6/10 Best BBC commentator/presenter: Martin Brundle followed closely by Jake, DC and TK. Worst BBC commentator/presenter: Eddie Jordan Best Comment(ary moment): Button: "Smell of bangers at Turn 17, guys. If you're hungry head to Turn 17!" I copied someones quote but didnt hear it my self. Did he actually say that?? Overall BBC coverage rating: 7/10. (9/10 would they had last years post race forum format with more video analyzes and driver interviews in a separate area instead of this years "just-hanging-around-the-paddock-a-while-longer-to-chit-chat-making-the-time-run")
Best Driver: Button/Vettel/di Resta Worst Driver: Schumacher Best Rookie: di Resta Best Team: Red Bull Worst Team: HRT Best Overtake: Webber v Alonso Funniest-moment: No idea Most Surprising Result: Williams better than I expected Least Surprising Result: Vettel's win Special Mention to: David Coulthard - how many times does he need to be told how to pronounce Vettel? Race Rating: 7/10
Best Driver: Paul di Resta - by far Worst Driver: Felipe Massa Best Rookie: Sergio Perez - desipte Paul's great race, and the fact I gave him best driver, Sergio deserves best rookie. Some great defensive driving that made Schumacher crash, and some great battling at the end to secure a point Best Team: Easily Force India - I thought Mercedes were top of the mid field, but looks like they have some company Worst Team: Ferrari - their pace in the second phase of the race was more dreadful than ever Best Overtake: Webber on Alonso through the traffic into the kerbs of death Funniest-moment: DC to MB - You had no friends in racing Most Surprising Result: Hamilton back up to 5th - did well to put the pnealty behind him, and finish nearly 50 seconds ahead of Massa, whilst overtaking the same group of cars twice Least Surprising Result: Ricciardo beats his team mate Special Mention to: Bruno Senna - despite being in a struggling car, he still finished 16th, and beat his team mate Race Rating: 7/10
Best driver - Button and Vettel. Two best drivers but shout outs to Button because he finished between the Red Bull's when it really should have been a RB 1/2 such was their superiority at this race track Worst driver - Kobayashi - he's had a poor weekend and is having a poor second half of the season Best team - Red Bull Worst team - Renault Best overtake - Webber on Alonso Funniest moment - none Most surprising result - No real surprising results but Force India have to be given some kudos for a good race today. Beat Mercedes in the race and were the 4th best team out there today. Least surprising result - Seb winning again! Special mention to - Jenson Button - stayed out of trouble and is having a really good second half to the season. Looking good to finish ahead of Lewis in the season and can hopefully get what he deserves in finishing runner up to Sebastian. And yet he still has his critics. Race rating - 6/10 - not offensively boring like Valencia but another unconvincing and rather forgettable race from the streets of Singapore. Not even a safety car can spice up the action like other races. It's a bit of a joke that this race gets a 2 hour outing when all the rest get around 1 hr 30. It's a real shame because I'm sure Singapore is an amazing city but we just get no flavour of the surroundings from this race. Let's ditch this cheesy/commercially bollocked night racing malarky. Host it in the day time.
He was three tenths behind Buemi for about 20 laps, then I still haven't worked out why he suddenly ended up a lap down once the safety car went in. Be fair though, Sauber in general are having a poor second half to the season, the car just hasn't been good enough for a while.
Best Driver: Sebastian Vettel Worst Driver: Vitaly Petrov Best Rookie: Paul Di Resta Best Team: Red Bull Worst Team: Renault Best Overtake: Webber on Alonso Funniest-moment: DC and MB discussing how to pronounce Coulthards name Most Surprising Result: Di Resta, 6th Least Surprising Result: Guess who won Special Mention to: Button, Senna, Perez and Kovalainen Race Rating: 6.5/10
â¢Best Driver: Paul Di Resta. Give him a Merc, Norbert â¢Worst Driver: Vitaly Petrov. Anonymous, and beaten by Senna again. â¢Best Rookie: See Best Driver â¢Best Team: Force India. Both Cars in the points, must be the 4th best team now. â¢Worst Team: Ferrari. Disappointingly slow, and bad tyre wear. â¢Best Overtake: Webber catching Alonso unawares, before the stupid sling. â¢Funniest-moment: The pronounciation argument in Q1 yesterday â¢Most Surprising Result: Ferrari being so bad. â¢Least Surprising Result: Vettel winning again â¢Special Mention to: Sergio Perez. was in the wars, yet got himself a point. â¢Race Rating: 3/10. it's Valencia at night.
Best Driver: Vettel, flawless again Worst Driver: Kobayashi, ignoring blue flags, sticking it into the wall in quali, a weekend t forget Best Rookie: Perez, Di resta gets a shout, but he has the car Best Team: Force India, very strong showing on a circuit I didn't think would suit them, excellent job Worst Team: Renault, WTF? Best Overtake: Webber on Alonso Funniest-moment: in quali Brundle refered to 'Piquet corner' which i think should be it's official name, and on the forum the Whitmarsh/Horner 'face off' with Eddie J telling everyone exactly how it is with respect to 'creative auditing', and the 2 team principles seeming to laugh guiltily (to me anyway) Most Surprising Result: Both Force Indias Least Surprising Result: Vettel Special Mention to: Button, Di Resta, Senna, all 3 unmentioned but drove their cars well Race Rating: 7/10
Best Driver: Button, for at least threatening to make Vettel put his right foot down. Worst Driver: From what I saw, Kobayashi. But I don't know the back story to Petrov's race. Best Rookie: Di Resta. Best Team: Pound for pound Force India. Clearly Red Bull had the best car, but yet again Webber wasn't up to scratch. Worst Team: Renault by a country mile. Best Overtake: Whoever overtook Alonso this weekend. Becoming a theme this. Funniest-moment: Has to be Massa-Hamilton Most Surprising Result: Di Resta ahead of both Mercedes Least Surprising Result: Pasta "Bacon Double Cheeseburger" Maldonado scoring nothing. Buy your way into another form of racing you egotistic, talentless... Special Mention to: Jaime Alguersuari. Not for having a good race, but for what hardcore conspiracy theorists might have seen as a Nelson Piquet moment. Race Rating: 7/10. Would've been lower if it wasn't for Jenson giving us something to talk about in the closing stages.
Best Driver: Vettel by far Worst Driver: Petrov Best Rookie: Di Resta. Best Team: Force India impressed this weekend Worst Team: Renault sadly =/ Best Overtake: Webber on Alonso Funniest-moment: Massa and hamilton...Those clowns Most Surprising Result: Button qualifying well Least Surprising Result: Lotus's blowing up. seems to happen a lot Special Mention to: Senna. Renault had a bad race but he looked respectable beating his team mate on a track he knows least about Race Rating: 8/10
Best Driver: Button Worst Driver: Petrov Best Rookie: Di Resta Best Team: RBR Worst Team: Renault Best Overtake: Both of Webbers on Alonso Funniest-moment: Mass losing it. Most Surprising Result: Hamilton Least Surprising Result: Hamilton Special Mention to: Vettel Race Rating: /10 Solid 7/10
The first thought that came to my mind when I heard that Jaime had crashed was "Nelson Piquet Mk II?" It only took me a few moments to dismiss the idea as ridiculous, but that's the way F1 gets you thinking.
Sadly I suspect it everytime I see something like it happen ever since the ease with which Webber passed one last season at Abu dhabi, it's gets compounded everytime I see one hold up a car so a RBR can get an advantage, which has happened 2 or 3 times this season, I really do not like someone owning 2 teams.

It is of no surprise to me that Jenson is right up there (****ing legard I can't say that without feeling stupid) in the best driver category, and not even mentioned in the worst driver section. Make of that what you will tiphaine1998/pmc
