Yes ... but the missus and I called in there for a long weekend when we were first together ... was great
We visited there when we stayed down that way . Height of the Summer , Loved it , but having seen the TV programme can well understand how it drove some of the locals scatty They admit though that without tourism they whole place would struggle . Goodness only knows what financial impact the pandemic has had so far
Yeah, including British hoards everywhere. Horrible place. You'll be fine going to France by the way, bar this mythical second wave , which isn't going to happen anyway. It's open now, just need to get over over this quarantine period which I've no doubt both ours and the French governments will sort quite quickly. Just had an afternoon on the beach and the couple we were with knew some other family, the dad of which is French. It's open. The French will not be happy if it's not open to tourists as well. I fully intend to be going as planned.
A second wave sounds plausible given the number of infections currently and lockdown now unofficially over at least in London. Hopefully not as I’ve still got half a chance of being allowed into Dubai in September.
Not a bad punt that though really. A good chance you’ll get a cheap holiday just before we all go back into lockdown. Win double.
By strange coincidence Jasper, I saw the PM of Iceland speaking on CNN. She said that to encourage visitors, they will be offering tests at the airport to new arrivals. Obviously if you test positive you’re on the next plane home, but if not, you’re in, no quarantine. Having said that, the issue may be getting quarantined on your way back into the UK.
Yeah what he said. St Ives is a no go tourist town in the summer, it's packed and there's nowhere to park.
There's so many videos of the place. ****ing proper chilled holiday. We'd do it for under a grand each imo. Piskie you'd love it too.
