Yeah, but they are films i haven't seen for years and had forgot them until you mentioned them. There were only 3 channels when i was a kid
hahaha, that's one of the ones I watched, after Death Rides a Horse, which I'd been wanting to see again since I was a kid in the 70's. Going to watch the sequel at some point in the next few days.
They all shut down after 12 and it took ages for the white dot in the centre of the screen to fade out
Never really understood why it was called a "test card", maybe it was just to show your telly was still working even if there was nothing on.
I remember my first ever late night staying up as a little kiddlywink, watching cartoon network and it shut off at 12. **** the pigs man I wanted more Ed, Edd n Eddy
I stayed up to watch The Good, The Bad and The Ugly last night ... one of those films that I always end up watching ... Clint was so ****ing cool and Eli Wallach as Tuco is superb ... throw in Lee van Cleef as the real baddie and an amazing music score and what's not to like?
There is so much to that film, it's brilliant. That end scene where Wallach is running through the graveyard and the Enio Morricone track
The Good, the bad & the Ugly is a great film, but my favourite of the 3 is For a Few Dollars More, the showdown is awesome. "When the chimes end, pick up your gun and try and and shoot me, Colonel. Just try.
You are quite correct ... those chimes have been sampled a few times ... but it's the Mexican brass instruments that make it incredible ...
I watched all 3 again about a year ago when I was balls deep into Red Dead must haves in a DVD collection
Watched the burning last night.. the old 80s gore film.. i was rank average, but had to watch it all..
