On the day before Cummings gave his rose garden address they told us 118 had died. It was actually 441.

Probably something to do with the President not approving them <laugh>

Makes me laugh, they go through all the voting process, then the President says, nope you can't have him, him and him. Didn't they try to impeach him one time.

To sort Italy out you have to sort out the endemic corruption, but if you try to do that, your car blows up.

100% ... Covid-19 is behind that stat either directly or indirectly as the restrictions / fear of infection has stopped some people seeking or getting hospital treatment for other life ending conditions.

We’re almost not in triple figure daily deaths in England excluding the ones we don’t include so I’d say so.

Watching brief now for us all now, see what happens.

All the Trump talk is over on the George Floyd thread anyway.

The BBC have now turned their scare mongering everyone attention to the 'fact' the virus 'might' return with a vengeance in Autumn and Winter, so they'll trip out talking heads daily to make this claim ad infinitum.

Could be that new evidence has emerged to suggest the virus is weakening rather than some sort of conspiracy.

You have no hair you are receding
A distinct comb over on the horizon
You are only combing it in waves
Your lips move but I don't trust what you say

You are Donald Trump... and you are a **** <cheers>

I'm following the parliamentary farce at the moment.

    How shall we vote?
    A. Press a button
    B. Queue a mile down the road.

Queue a mile down the road apart from the MPs who are vulnerable or live with someone who is, making unnecessary journeys to and from every corner of the country to do it.

This all does seem very strange to me, if I'm understanding what is happening correctly. For MP's to vote now, what took 15 minutes, now takes 45 minutes, yet voting could be from home.

Now ignoring the pompous twat Mogg's, what happened to the 'New Normal' surely in 2020, even members of parliament should be able to conduct a certain amount of business from home, I include in that, participating in ballots.

Such a small matter, but just one, if I've understood it all correctly, that goes to show, we don't want to change, and that is plain stubborness, especially in a society, that expects me as a person to change and accept new technology (such as cashless payments, track and trace apps etc).

Yeah, I am aware that is probably part of it, it just all seems really childish if it is solely that. We either have a new normal or we don't. Maybe it should be one of the media questions in the daily briefings. Afterall, as with any virus, the less people travel and come in contact with one another, the less chance of spreading the virus. It seems to me as a person, that we only want to apply the new normal when it suits particular agendas. That's aimed at politicians, not anyone on here.
