Possibly the most inept president of any country EVER. Scary times and to have this moron in charge of the most powerful country on the planet just exacerbates what is already a very unstable time in the world

I put a post up on here a couple of months ago from The Bulletin of The Atomic Scientists. They pretty much said the same thing although Trump isn’t the only offender. There are lots of world leaders out there now who are more interested in short term populism rather than world political stability.

If nothing else it’s showing that presidency by social media is not a good thing.

It's something of a warning to me.

I believe that we are currently into something of an experiment with 'Fixed Term Parliaments'.
Not set in stone or we couldn't have had the last two elections, but the idea gained some support during Camerons tenure.

The USofA of course do have this and when an incompetent incumbent is elected, there is SFA that can be done about it.
It suggests to me that this is not a good idea.

Our system might look odd to outsiders.
    No written Constitution.
    A Monarchy.

It is worth noting, though, that most of the world's worst Governments call themselves Republics.

If Trump is re-elected after all of his major fuk-ups this year......his handling of the Virus, after saying it was nothing and he had it under control, now his total lack of empathy regarding the systemic racism in the States highlighted by current events.... you really have to question the sanity of the Great American public. These are just 2 of a number of embarrassing episodes in this presidency...this guy make Jacob Zuma of South Africa look like a genius.

Trump knows he can say what he likes and if he's wrong it doesn't matter.
He moves on to the next fake news.
He can say he's doing a great job.
He can blame China, Russia, WHO, UN, for his inadequacies.
He can be a bully and call it being a strong leader.
And he will get back in for another four years because there will be enough idiots who will get behind the bully.
    I hope I'm wrong.

Can't see him getting back in. My mates Mrs is from Baltimore and my Mrs is in touch with her and the anti Trump vibes are getting stronger by the day.
When you're p*ssing off governors and police chiefs it's not going to end well imo. But never underestimate the stupidity of a large proportion of the Americans.

Definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, but expecting different results...

What gets me is the two heads of the same coin voting system in the U.S.

The rules: You can only vote either Dem or Rep that usually have the worst of the wealthiest megalomaniacal candidates standing for either party.

Both parties must toe- the- line and follow the most extreme self- serving ideologies with similar agenda's ultimately representing - 'Finance and War'.

Such a vast populace, with the finest Universities and that's the best they can come up with?

Not saying we're any better here tbh.

I mean they're still multitudes here today who would still vote for 'GET IT DONE & LETS MOVE ON' Boris Johnson if the election was held right now!

We don't have any alternatives or better methodologies to offer. We're all just as 'programmed and wired' into a flawed system.

The world of 'Politics' is ****ed beyond repair and it is ****ing depressing!

Good post mate. Plus I'd throw in that having 99%of the worlds wealth owned by point 1 of 1% of the world's population doesn't help. My percentages might be slightly out but I hope you get my meaning.

I used to live there and still have many friends throughout the States.... no doubt he won the last election because of an anti-Hillary feeling.... but this time I think the Democrats could put up a card board cut out and it would win. He has completely divided the nation it’s a country that desperately needs a change, I hope they get it

Experience tells me that it's unwise to underestimate the stupidity of the American Voter.
So, I'll join you in HOPING that you are wrong.

The one hope we have to hold onto is that he was elected by a minority of the Electorate.
This means that only a small swing away from him at the poll's would be needed to have him out.

But it's going to be squeaky bum time come November 3rd.

(I'll be laying in a stock of Highland Park falling down water to celebrate if he loses.
I'll be laying in a stock of Highland Park falling down water to drown my sorrows if he wins.
IF you spot a flaw in the logic here, please keep it to yourself:1980_boogie_down:)

Fortunately I don't live in the USA so am able to laugh my arse off at whatever Trump does.

He's a comic character I find entertaining but, at the same time ...

.... am bewildered that anyone but his wife would vote for him.
