The club have sent out an e-Mail regarding season ticket refunds for this season. Probably be on the site too I guess.
Watford captain Troy Deeney missed training again on Tuesday due to being unwell, although it is unrelated to coronavirus. The striker was expected to return to training this week, for the first time since the suspension of the Premier League in March due to the coronavirus pandemic. Deeney initially opted against a return last month because of his concerns about player safety and the welfare of his five-month-old son, who has breathing difficulties. But he revealed last week his intention to resume training at the club's London Colney base, after holding positive talks with Professor Jonathan Van-Tam, England's deputy chief medical officer
Joao Pedro looks to have beefed up considerably - maybe he will be 'unleashed' for the remaining games.
Phew... Troy Deeney is expected to return to Watford training on Wednesday for the first time since activities restarted following the coronavirus shutdown. The Watford captain had been arguably the most vociferous critic of the Premier League's Project Restart plans, citing concerns over the safety of his young son, who suffers from breathing difficulties, and the increased risk posed to BAME players. Deeney revealed last week that he and his family had suffered online abuse following his stance against the protocols, but will return after being reassured by meetings with the deputy chief medical officer for England, Jonathan Van-Tam, as well as feedback from those of his team-mates who have already trained. The 31-year-old, who has continued to train alone near his home in Warwickshire over recent weeks, was expected to return to London Colney on Monday but has been unwell, though his illness was not related to Covid-1
Martin Samuels wrote an article about all 20 teams and their key players and controversial tweets aimed at them and their teams, Deeney of course was ours and a tweet was mentioned aimed at Deeney calling him a coward Samuels replied Deeney is no coward and if you had the courage to say it to his face I would supply deckchairs and refreshments to watch the carnage He seems more on our side these days
Quite - let's see the reaction from Liverpool fans if one of their players had doubts about playing.. I see Kloop says has really misssed football as if all this has just been a nuisance getting in the way like a pre- season break. Think that just shows their attitude. Play at any cost.
Well guess so! But these top teams have been banging the drum to get going for a whille whilst we have been seen as the bad boys.
