I liked Grayson and he did a great job at building a top side. My only gripe was that he never seemed to get the back 4 sorted out. That side with a commanding centre half would have got in the Prem no bother.
Millwall told the EFL that they had been obeying social distancing at the Den for years and therefor should be promoted
I think if a club can cheat and cover up overspending it shows ambition. If they sell the ground to a shell company owned by the same person owning the club then they would be ideal for the prem. An honest club who declares everything would not qualify for promotion.to be devious seems to be a redeeming quality. By the same token villa should not be relegated as all the evidence is in their favour. Too much honesty gets you nowhere we need to cheat.
Limited number of supporters in the Radnik v Partizan Belgrade Cup game right now. The other 2 cup games in Serbia were held with no spectators apparently.
Just scrap all cup games next season, their unimportant and not taken seriously (have been for years) an exra risk that's just not needed.
with proper backing he just might have sorted the defence out,but we shall never know, all water under the bridge now i guess, but what's important is Leeds United are now finaly rising from the murky depths of our past.
He can’t when spending it but I’ll bet he was well able to count it coming in when he was flogging the Crown Jewels. He must be 120 by now
Another 9 positive tests from 6 Championship clubs announced today. Remember these players all tested negatively twice previously...might be a good idea if the players were to wear masks and gloves when they go shopping because at the moment it isn't working.
The EFL have confirmed nine people from six different Championship clubs have tested positive for coronavirus in the latest round of testing. A total of 1094 players and staff from all 24 Championship clubs were tested over the course of Saturday, May 30 Sunday, May 31 Monday, June 1 Tuesday, June 2. An EFL statement read: “Following the latest round of COVID-19 testing, the EFL can confirm that 1094 players and Club staff from the 24 Championship Clubs were tested over the course of Saturday 30 May, Sunday 31 May, Monday 1 June and Tuesday 2 June with nine individuals testing positive from six Clubs. “Those players or Club staff who have tested positive will now self-isolate in line with the guidelines provided by the EFL and only those who have tested negative will be permitted to enter training ground facilities.”
That's 24 players (or staff) that have now tested positive in the Champioship since the return to training. Think it's unlikely the season will resume as currently planned unless the numbers testing positive reduce drastically in the next 7 to 10 days.
