For the sake of public morale, I’m trying to put a positive spin on all stories I see in the news. Feel free to chip in with your own positive news. No negativity or moaning here!

    As a starting point:

Looks like we should have a supply of cheap labour from Sunderland to build our new stadium.

Nissan: UK factory still under threat from no-deal Brexit https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-52900528

He said positive spin not out and out fantasy. Next you’ll be saying Chippy will buy someone somewhere a pint before next year.

I guess that’s sort of a positive spin? Stretching it a bit, but I’m feeling generous.

What if you didn't vote for any of the scum who campaigned last time?

Fcuk Boris but my god if Corbyn got in... any other is a wasted vote unless you in Wales/NI/Scotland and voting for your nationalist party. where is the centralist party for sensible non snowflake/racists to vote for

This isn’t a positive spin on anything.

unless you’re saying you can’t be blamed for the mess because you didn’t vote for either of them?

Your comment is probably tongue in cheek.

If Nissan remains at risk, it's **** news of the highest order.

    Get a grip man.
How many working class people do you think will be affected if Nissan was to close, including members of my family and friends, all NUFC fans and not all who voted leave.
The workforce at Nissan and it's suppliers employs thousands of people from outside Sunderland.
The problem with Remoaners, is there desire to remain bitter.

sorry , but what part of what I said wasn't true?

Sunderland voted for brexit, so did the entire country, so whatever happens it's what they asked for.

whether it's a good thing is irrelevant to my point.

    they were warned

So if Nissan shuts it can only be because of Brexit?

Why did their Barcelona plant shut?

Nissan are in process of consolidating. They have announced they are shutting plants in both Spain and Indonesia. Suspect they want to get best terms possible from UK hence the threats over Brexit deal.

    This.
Jak may not look bright but he has his moments of lucidity.
It's call preparing the negotiation platform.
Remoaners (not remainers per se) continue to surf a tidal wave of beel.

    Taken correctly mate. :afro:
The Saudis are a nation of traders and so know a thing or two about doing deals. I've spent weeks on ground work for deals... to go and do them in 60 minutes.
