Yep. Final episode last night. 'Same as it ever was'. Brilliant programme. I wouldn't want to say that any of the Wire BB, BCS or Chernobyl were better or worse than each other. They're all examples of film-making at the zenith of its craft. Riveting stuff. I now need input on what to watch next that won't massively disappoint. I'm thinking the Sopranos as that's been heavily recommended. Any suggestions?

Do you use this approach to be contentious, or are you just a deranged ****-hound? I can't believe anyone could describe the Wire as '****e' <laugh>

The only issue I have with The Wire is trying to understand some of the accents.

    Well it's not.

Its one of the best (apart from the docks season) up there with the elite of TV series.

Mustve watched the whole thing 4 times over easy.

    I’m glad you’ve said that.
We are halfway through the docks season and it’s not a patch on series 1.
Glad to hear that it picks back up.
