Ground to continue as Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium Matt Webb @mattwebb987 Share article: QPR can confirm our home ground will continue to be named Kiyan Prince Foundation Stadium for the 2020/21 season. In consultation with our supporters, Loftus Road was renamed ahead of the 2019/20 campaign. Fans voted overwhelmingly for the naming rights to be gifted to the charity which was set up to combat knife and gun crime after the tragic stabbing of our former academy player, Kiyan Prince. The interest shown in our work, the doors that have opened because of this additional exposure, cannot be underestimated. MARK PRINCE Share QPR CEO Lee Hoos said: “We understand the history and importance of Loftus Road and for supporters to vote in the way they did last season for the rights to be gifted to the Kiyan Prince Foundation speaks volumes. “We have closely monitored the impact of the additional exposure on the Foundation and it is very evident that this continues to grow. “Only six weeks ago EA Sports launched a stunning Kiyan Prince tifo in FIFA20 which guarantees incredible additional coverage for the Foundation. “We are proud to stand shoulder to shoulder with Kiyan’s dad Mark and all the dedicated Foundation team.” Mark Prince, founder of the Kiyan Prince Foundation, added: “This is a very special and emotional moment for my family and for the Foundation. “The interest shown in our work, the doors that have opened because of this additional exposure, cannot be underestimated. “QPR’s supporters are a very special breed of people who look after each other. They have shown me such love over the years and I can never repay them for that - I’m excited for them to continue on this journey with me as I embark on several new projects, both personally and with the Kiyan Prince Foundation, in the coming months that will positively impact thousands of young lives. “Thank you so much to everyone who has made this possible.
