Royal Dornoch to knick a place in the big one at 40s, we have seen these Ballydoyle outsiders do it plenty of times before.

There has been steady rain overnight and all morning at Newmarket, on top of watered ground, so should be no issues for Waldkonig, no track records today.

Opted for the same bit of ew thievery Ste. Beat the 2nd fav fair and square here last season. Granted that Group 2 is not a great indicator for future Guineas success (though Frankel did win it). 40/1 a decent price for a live outsider. Alfred Boucher ew @ 14/1 in the race after too.

Arizona weak in the Guineas, Witchita into 2nd fav. Moore has a habit being on the wrong Ballydoyle horse in classics. Luckily he only had 1 option in the 1000 tomorrow.

I’ve changed my mind about 5 times about the Guineas. Gone for Military March ridden by Peter Crouch’s smaller brother. Good luck all. Have a good day :emoticon-0148-yes::emoticon-0167-beer:

    3:35 Newmarket: Pinatubo/Military March

(Have had small RFC on these two. No reason to believe that Pinatubo has not trained-on, and Military March could well run a big race. Good to see Norwegian-born William Buick riding well again after his illness towards the end of last season. Two heavy falls at Meydan, no bones broken but suffered bleeding on the brain, apparently. Served his apprenticeship with Andrew Balding (starting in 2006) who said later that William "was the best apprentice he ever had", by a long chalk.)
    (Misc. Info Source: Wikipedia.)

    Enjoy the racing, everyone! <cheers>

Sorry, also fact checking this. He has had 3 runners in a race 10 times in his career.

Getting a forecast in a race is pretty tough , roger fell managed it first race back , low grade handicap , many trainers do it in those type of races , at the higher levels , it becomes much harder , and frankly , stuart williams is just giving a blow to his all weather sprinters in that race .......expect early action and fade out the back ........

I suppose Ornate will blaze the trail in the next at Newmarket but will he last it out up the hill under 9.6?
As the going is still fastish I'm thinking the fav might need another furlong so have gone for Moss Gill

In the Sagaro Stakes you could be drawn to several in an open looking and tightly rated affair. I decided to go with Nayef Road, who was generally operating at a decent level last year, apart from a poor effort in the Voltigeur at York and another disappointing run on very soft ground at Longchamp. A long way behind the winner Logician in the Voltigeur, he ran much better when 3rd in the St Leger to the same horse beaten only two and a half lengths in recording a career best to date of 113 on RPR. That effort puts him in the ball park today and the son of Galileo can hopefully progress this year and stay the two miles. Most of the field are pretty well exposed and Nayef Road is already a group 3 winner having won the Gordon Stakes at Goodwood.

A very competitive race but I thought Nayef Road might just improve a little this season.

    2.40 Newcastle Nayef Road 8/1

Family gone, back watching live, hopefully they didn't leave anything behind for me! I was definitely nervous, although all the family have been tested negative, through my son-in-laws job (police)

    Cheers Pops <ok>

    Come on Mum's Tipple <laugh>

Nothing in Newcastle's 2-05, although Aljari must be a good ew chance at 10-1
