    FWIW it must have been a tough decision for League One as the top of that league is insanely tight. There's a number of clubs who will feel aggrieved, not a fun situation.

    100% they would get promoted. Whatever people think of Ashley and Bruce their track records suggest that promotion from League One would be almost guaranteed. It wont happen of course but as someone who would like to see them do well I'd welcome that.

    The EFL are surely taking the piss.
    All hopes of a glorious playoff final loss up in smoke - gut wrenching.
    Oh well, at least it has a sense of finality, so there is a silver lining.

    So this will make next season, the turd year in the turd division.

    Talk about clutching at straws, it would take eight Championship clubs to go bust before they would get to the top of the pit. More chance of them going into administration and the 4th division.

    Where is Fredor when you need him for good old fashioned stats.

    Officially the 52nd best team in England, the lowest finish ever, yes, since football began ever.
    It will be interesting if the EFL change the format next season to aid the smaller clubs, and re-introduce, Turd Divisions North and South. Basically the 4th Division with bells on....
