Hi folks, I'm Ron from the Wycombe forum. Noticed you don't have a thread up for Saturday's match so if it's OK I'll start one. It may not have escaped your notice that we have failed to score in our last 5 league games and nestling uncomfortably near the bottom of the table with only Exeter and Leyton Orient propping us up. I guess you must be feeling pretty confident about Saturday. Any views on the outcome?
I'm hoping for a deflected goal in 90+3mins for Wycombe to win 1-0. Going to the players lounge after the game and I hear some other people are to?
It was already quiet RC. I think the fans must be on another forum, because we're just chatting to ourselves here. Still I thought I was going to be chatting to myself so glad for the company. Could have been 6-0. We hit the post 3 times, the bar once, the goalie made a miraculous save and we missed a penalty. Our goalie had a picnic behind the goal with the fans before falling asleep. If only we could have fielded our first team. There, see if that gets a response. Seriously, I did mention that Sheff Utd's away form was a bit suspect based on results but watch out when we go to Sheffield. They seem to score freely at home.
