I found the explanations about the options on the web site unfathomable and I have a fairly analytical brain. And I haven't received an email from the club telling me action is required. I do worry about season tickets for next season. As a Central London club we rely on public transport to get fans to the games but it's not at all clear when that will be cleared for non-essential travel or if I would want to risk using it even if available. I don't want to lose my seat allocation of 40+ years and I want to support the club in anyway I can but I can't for the life of me see how we are going to be able to decide on season tickets by the end of the month as per the current renew deadline. Also, I have two season tickets. Anyone know if it's possible to sign up for the QPR+ deal on one and bank the other for next season?
Seems we will play a local derby behind closed doors as part of our warm up. https://www.allnigeriasoccer.com/read_news.php?nid=36367
Confirmed 3pm kick off on 20th June against Barnsley at HQ...… Season Ticket holders will be able to watch game on something called IFollow?????
Full fixtures and times...… https://www.qpr.co.uk/news/club-news/remaining-201920-fixture-dates-confirmed/
Lots of very winnable games left, turn up for the Barnsley game and could be a very interesting end to the season
I can't see us listed on ifollow, is that just a service for clubs that don't have their own match streaming service, for us QPR+? Does anyone know if QPR+ will be exceptionally available for UK based fans too?
Friendlies against Chelsea and West Ham. https://www.westlondonsport.com/qpr/qpr-play-friendlies-against-chelsea-and-west-ham
One can always hope and wish! We currently have 50 points and are 6 points shy of Preston in 6th place. To have a shout in the run in we will probably need 7 wins from the remaining 9 matches which would give us 21 more points. Hopefully these 21 points would provide 15 points to "keep pace with the play-off contenders", plus 6 points for the "catch-up". In theory it is possible, but it means hitting the ground runni ng with a great period of form.
All the R’s remaining matches will be available via QPR+ At last some good news and something to look forward to! https://www.kilburntimes.co.uk/spor...ning-fixtures-upon-return-to-action-1-6691247
Hugill will be available for all the remaining matches. https://www.westlondonsport.com/qpr/football-qpr-west-ham-jordan-hugill-news-09062011
QPR Communications twitter feed has just tweeted that during the confinement, when crowds aren't allowed in the stadium, they will play crowd noises including specific QPR songs...naff or do you think it could work? All sounds a bit Disney Land like to me.
True, but for me the only plus of an empty stadium would be hearing the exchanges between the players/coaches/manager/referee...and I'd rather not have that drowned out by a pre-recorded set of chants.
It should be a good idea. Initially the Bundesleague matches sounded as if they were in an aquarium. The recent Bayern match I saw had “augmented sound” which was a much better viewing experience.
That's a shame. I'd have hoped it might be a nice way for clubs to make some ££ when games aren't on Sky etc.
