haha! No. It’s a local company but I can’t say. Nothing to get excited about though. Anyway, good luck to everyone who goes next season, you’re all mad to watch another repeat of the last 2 years. I just don’t hate myself that much I’ll be back with my whole family when we have new owners and a modicum of ambition again
Well it wouldn’t be fkn Winalot would it! If this is correct he’s going nowhere and this confirms it. You can forget your takeover.
It's probably the best option pal. Whilst 40,000 could not afford 2.5k each, theres several thousand who could & would put a lot more in to make it work, and so many others can invest less. **** the bricks, I'll have a wall please Bob. Start the motion pal
It’s plausible ain’t it? Yeah there isn’t 40k with £2,500, but there’s likely a couple with a hell of a lot more. With a figurehead paying the bulk. £100 million is way above as well, I’ve based that on hiring the correct staff and aiming for 2 promotions, at which point club starts paying for itself.
I’ve heard that Dortmund have a good model in financial sustainability. Maybe we could emulate that. Or when it comes to players, Udinese seem to know what they’re doing, or so I’ve heard. Surprised we haven’t at least had bought about it.
@Nads @Nordic I think you've mentioned it before, but the best of both worlds could be joint ownership with FPP. Then we get a major say for less money. Plus we get the expertise and clout of FPP. We would probably have to overpay to get rid of Donald but it'd be worth it.
Dream scenario mate, absolute dream. Would also keep a close bond between the fans and owners. It would be the dream ticket.
