Everything I've heard in the last month, which is very little in truth, backs up what I've been saying since this all started.

I was left frazzled last time and I won't post anything again unless it's definitive, by which time it'll probably be common knowledge anyway.

But, it isn't all lost and Donald wants out.

Don't give up, it's our club and we love it.

    Arghhh stop it man
Just when I'm getting used to being a miserable pessimistic old git, along you come with your positive talk.
Well I'm not having it. We're doomed I tell you, doomed
I read it on RTG so it must be true

I've said it before, I can't go into everything I've heard from RAWA (not that there's loads like, but I've only just joined as a rep and don't want to get booted out straight away!) but everything I've heard supports pretty much everything you've said. It was a takeover initially, everyone thought it was done (hence the fanzine articles and probably the text you saw). I've heard that they had big plans which would be a crying shame if they didn't happen, (don't know any details but it ties in with what you said). They've monitored things closely since and certainly haven't walked away (but what needs to happen for them to take over I don't know). I mentioned hoping their wives had seen STID2 which one poster noticed, this is because apparently they were right into it the first season, I got the impression they'd like a takeover to go through. Occasionally you hear things that are confidential (don't think I've heard anything major relating to FPP mind) and I obviously couldn't post about that, but I think all the above is fine. FPP definitely wanted to buy us, definitely didn't just invest in Donald, and I've not yet heard anything which would contradict anything you've said, just in case anyone still thinks you're randomly making it up for attention.

The only slight deviation is that, although Donald would probably sell for the money he wants, I haven't heard that anyone is close to meeting that. He thinks he might get us up and expects to get the chance to try. I hope I'm wrong on that one!

I'd be shocked if there isn't at least 90% of Sunderland fans want them gone.

It sounds like the wheels are starting to turn for heads to come together to decide what action to take. I take my hat off to @Guinness Guzzler @Confucius @wearside wanderer II for being pro-active and getting RAWA to push something out there. Talking on here is one thing but putting any ideas into action is another, so well done boys. Its something that I personally would get involved in, but I work all over the country and europe so could never devote my full attention to what is needed. As for what has been mooted over the last 10 months or so from @Smug in Boots about FPP's ideas and vision, which has really been informally confirmed by others, if Stewart Donald has stopped this vision becoming reality, its something that he must pay for and be ousted, whichever way possible. We have all got to come together and support any protest as a united fanbase because that is the only way that it will work, I dont think ive seen the support so fractured and disjointed as I have seen over the last 12 months. I dont know how many times I have changed my mind about the people in charge, but I think that we are all under the agreement now that we have had enough and we cant believe 1 word that comes out their mouths. Again lads, well done. I will be looking forward to how ongoing talks go with the RAWA

If FPP came out and said that they couldn’t agree due to a price or Donald moved the goalposts, the movement would pick up pace drastically.
Crikey, they only need to tip off a journalist or fanzine etc for people to boot off further with the jokers destroying the club

People like @Guinness Guzzler, and others, are finally being able to make their voices heard above the rabble on RTG etc, who've shouted people down for so long, and very slowly, much of what I was saying all those months ago is coming out. Everything from the FPP plans for engaging the City of Sunderland to the advice given by an ex-England manager.

If I hadn't been so relentlessly attacked I, and other people, would've been happy to have posted much more about how things started to unravel. I had a recent pm from a person who's sent me first hand info from inside the club. They are a regular well respected posted on RTG who's partner works in the club.

After seeing what happened with me, they won't post any information. Without breaking a confidence the general concensus is that, far from coasting along financially as has been suggested, Donald is floundering.

My wishes have always been that FPP get to take over, and put all of their plans in place, for all of the thousands of decent supporters.

Now, I have to be honest, part of me is hoping that it comes off as a f**k you to all the tossers who were desperate for me to be wrong, even to the detriment of the club.

I wish that I could rise above it, but these people don't realise the harm that they do ...

... hopefully the good guys, like GG, will be left to help SAFC out of this mess.

What I dislike is being put in a position where it's either 'believe certain things' or 'you're not a decent supporter'

That is simply wrong. People can look at what has happened and say that whatever info was given last year, FPP are not currently in charge and they don't appear to be in the mix right now to take over.

That doesn't make someone who thinks that any less of a fan for trying to understand something more complex than people make it out to be. If we don't get FPP I will be gutted, but that doesn't mean that I'm going to ignore the signs that this is not looking likely to happen as things stand.
