177 votes out of a thousands of people on Twitter. Plus it was put up following the defeat so people’s tempers we’re agitated. I’ve an idea, why not start a poll asking people why everyone don’t vote in the poll.
He’s an enigma is our LJ: He’s both a ‘yes man’ and a dictator at the same time. He changes a losing formation and then he’s a tinkerman but if he sticks with one he’s clueless. He’s weak, yet apparently he drops anyone who disagrees with him in the dressing room(?) He’s costing the club loads of money apparently - but SL got him as the ‘cheap option’ rather than employ an ‘established’ manager apparently too(?) One minute we are playing wonderful attacking football (albeit a while back now), the next we play defensive at home against teams we should be attacking. He really does fit the ‘marmite’ description to a tee. I can’t imagine he’s clueless - he’s got his badges after all - but I certainly can’t get my head around what his strategy is. Whatever happens, he’s certainly made his mark on Bristol City.
Nah don’t think he would vote mate. Reading your comments earlier on your grandkids, you can’t get a better feeling can you. If I knew grandkids was this great I would of had more kids
The Championship is an odd league. When you look at the table, Luton, who are back on the bottom following Barnsley's win against Blackburn, have only won 4 less games this season than we have though they've lost a few more.
Coaching awards provide knowledge to help individuals strategize. They do not provide the strategy - The playing model or its style/styles and philosophy come from the individual, its their ideas. A coach can still be clueless, making it up from one week or month to the next as they go.
I guess it all comes down to do we think we could get a manager who would mean we would do better. I like the fact we are trying to build something and have that stability. I looked at Alan Dicks record prior to promotion, full seasons, 16, 14, 19, 8, 5, 16, 5, 2. First observation 8 full seasons Second in his 6th season dropped to 16th place. I wonder how social media would have treated Alan Dicks
I think City for all LJ's deficiencies were a bit unlucky against Wednesday. Hopefully we'll have the luck tonight so I'm chasing my money tonight. 7-2 seems a good bet, well it does to me. Yes, I'm still on tablets.
Interesting thought, but it was a totally totally different world then in so many respects of how life is these days with respect to football. There was a lot less scrutiny then, and probably less expectations from City fans, myself included. There were hardly any football pundits, but then again there was hardly any football on TV aside from a couple of highlights from 2 games on a Saturday night (Match of the Day and 99% of the time featuring the old 1st Division only) and highlights from 2 or 3 others on a Sunday (The Big Match). There was none of this showing every goal from every league in the land. Aside from the World Cup every 4 years, there was no live football aside from the FA Cup Final and England v Scotland for the Home Internationals. Now everyone is an expert ! In some respects it's better. In others it's complete overkill.
