    He had a lot of blood down his arm. I only hope he wasn’t taken off for concussion. He’ll miss the run in if that was the reason.

    Spence for them just before h-t epitomised the first half.
    2 City players hesitated for a 50/50 ball and he went through them.
    Brabin, Ashbee, Whittle, Alex Bruce, Meyler - all of them would have had the ball and Spence into touch.
    Spence wouldn't come back again after that.

    Hope they show the casual elbow at h/t that caused the damage to Elder. Yeah and Terry Butcher or Whitehurst wouldn't have come off.

    We really do look like a relegation team again I'm afraid so far. Barely strung 2 passes together and our midfield don't stop them playing either. Oh and nervy at the back. All in all...
