Stop digging. Rules to ensure public safety work on the basis of foreseeing the possibility of accidents. Was he infected? Yes. Was he contagious? Yes. Should he be the judge whether it is safe for him drive? No. He is not medically qualified because he would have told us if he was as well as the rest of his cock and bull story. What if his car had broken down? What if he had to stop and pull over because he or has wife or his child suddenly began to vomit or needed to go to the toilet? What if he was involved in an accident on the way there, the way back or the trip to Barnard Castle on his test run?

 

I’m sure his friends at GSK in Barnard Castle would have helped, what with the coincidental proximity and all.

 

Other than going to work a few times and going to the supermarket we stayed indoors and self isolated for the five weeks of lockdown
We stayed in even though the health minister was caught breaking lockdown twice
Cummings is just a convenient excuse for people to use

Huge disappointment for the media as their hoped for nationwide carnage just didn't happen

The hotel I'm in is very quiet and the pub we went to less than fully booked and no drinkers allowed at the bar. Our meal was excellent and it was great to be able to eat out again. The staff were hugely happy to be back at work but a bit disappointed that there weren't more customers - not all available tables were booked

In Liverpool yesterday afternoon many of the city centre restaurants were still closed as we're the majority of the bars and pubs

If I'm still alive next weekend we will head out again - the economy desperately needs our support

 

Kanye West has said he's going to stand for President. Seems daft, but probably a move designed to help Trump. West is a Trump supporter and would be seeking to take black votes that would otherwise have gone to Biden.

The BBC loves to focus on the negative all the time. They were predicting countrywide meltdown last night and it just didn't happen
But it will still fuel some peoples constant negativity and handwringing

 

People enjoying themselves, nothing wrong with that hopefully. Anyone and everyone knows that the guidelines cant be adhered to in city centre night life. It's a tad easier in the town or country pub.
