3 more points and that's what matters atm. We have been, and are, being spoilt by having a team that plays the most exciting football. When they have a less than fantastic game it's easy to find fault. We have high expectations and that's the way it should be imo. I would like to finish the season in style and want as many points as possible; best scenario win them all, at this point in the season I'm happy with by whatever means necessary - ugly or beautiful.
I fully agree with that. At this level the determination only has to drop slightly to make a big difference. I'm still unsure of Keita - perhaps it's my fault, but I was hoping for more from him. It's not necessarily a criticism of his individual performance, rather whether or not the team improves with him in it. Firmino often has games where he seems poor, or anonymous even- but the team just functions better with him in it.
Yep. The job is done so no point in laying into them now imo. It would be nice to beat the points record though.
Me too. However, I will say he's been one of the better performers since restart (not saying much). Bobby is an interesting case. I love Bobby (I think we all do) but I do think it's fair to expect much more from him. As we all know, his movement and intelligence plays a big part in our attack but I think we do need someone who offers the same but with the output. I feel Bobby has no in-between - he can be sublime or a liability.
I disagree with your last point. I would re-word it - he can be sublime or ineffectual. I don't think I've ever seen him be a liability.
A liability in the sense that he gives the ball away and breaks down attacks. Simple touches, control and passes go wrong.
I think that could have been said about most of our players.at some point or other. We can both agree that Bobby's good games outweigh his poor games. Even when he's not on it, I feel far better when he's playing than when he's not.
