:emoticon-0103-cool::emoticon-0103-cool::emoticon-0103-cool: Bet Lynch has been on, says she is most concerned about this trip to Wales....facing the mighty Bluebirds....albeit without Gary Madine, aka Goal Machine! Excited to pop along to Cardiff Market before the game, but suspects the Rovers could be in for a difficult time. Apparantly they are trying to recruit one Alan Shearer on a emergency loan to come off the bench to add some punch! Bet wishes us well, and went on to say that your (Masky) afair with that bombshell in a nurses uniform (Minxy) is the talk of the north! Kindly offered to take over judging the “pecker” competition if Minxy cries off....apparantly she knows what to look for! Says she’ll take care of the one they call Cling if he proves troublesome! It’s us to win a hard fought battle to go six points clear, Derby to lose away to WBA 24 hours later....hmmm game over?

OK - bit of a dead thread so far so I'll make the first comment.

There's an 8 point gap and Mowbray will know he needs a win to have any real chance of overhauling us for that last playoff spot. Apart from the mathematics of it all, realistically even a draw will condemn them to another season in the Championship.

It makes perfect sense to come for the win. They've really got nothing to lose, but that in turn may suit us. I don't normally say this, but let them push on and exploit them on the break. Keeping them out is the way to play it - as the game wears on they'll become increasingly desperate.

Of course if they do get the first goal, then expect them to protect it. Winning games off the bench is not something we want to make a habit of.

If the expectation is that we will hit them on the break then what we need is pace in the side.
    No pack, no patto.
Changes early to keep the pace up.

Mowbray trying to talk up his team. They have to impose themselves and show composure. Then talks about the threat of our pace, set pieces and long throws.

As ever with him it is all smoke and mirrors. Probably confuses his own players.

I sense we will see another bus parking session.

Our team selection will tell us how Harris will play this.
I’m not expecting Tomlin to start given Harris’ comments on his injury niggles.
Back 5 picks itself as we know.
NML, Vaulks, Bacuna, Ralls and Murphy (if fit- if not then Whyte to rest Hoilett)
Paterson (unfortunately again to wear down the defence before Tomlin, Glatzel/Ward come on)

BT is very unhappy. Purchased a lockdown programme subscription from City to receive a programme for each home game.
Came home this afternoon and excitedly opened the postbox and .......... it was empty!

Now normally at this point I would have sent BfB on a search of the stadium to locate said programme, but I can't do that so I will just quietly curse the club, or the postman.........

OK guys - I'm on holiday and had a few sherberts that might be colouring my judgement, but................

City are odds on to take the game at FT - can't be arsed with that.......so 50 quid on City combo HT/FT @ 21/10

Just hope we get that goal in the first 45.......:emoticon-0141-whew:
