Most teams in the Championship would find it impossible if their owners immediately withdrew funding, not least QPR. The problem I have however, is that Rangers have already had their medicine from the FFP bottle in the form of the largest fine in sports history which has crippled our club for a generation if not forever. It's well known that many other clubs have similar problems but the EFL have not only avoided taking action against them they have also changed the rules to make sure that any future punishment would be far less severe than our own. So, while I feel for Wigan supporters and recognise that their problem is very different to other financial issues there does need to be a fair and swift application of the rules. Next stop for the justice league must be Derby.
If we were struggling for motivation at 50 points what now we have 53? I dont mind wigan but no charity please
Came to light today, that Sheffield United did The judgement on Sheffield Wednesday is imminent, the hearing was last week
Fairly exciting but also potentially frighteningly ineffective team for a drizzly Wednesday in Wigan. Kakay stays in on merit. No Amos so there is a god. Big chance for the boy Oteh anyway.
I think they will get off without sanction sadly I suspect that after our debacle club lawyers will have been all over the FFP rulebook before undertaking any potentially risky transaction
See that Wigan is trying to make things look like normal by putting a couple of hundred cardboard cut.outs in the middle of the stand. Come on u Rssssssssssssssss!!!!!!!
