Tottenham Hotspur were one of the sides interested in snapping up goalkeeper Fabian Mrozek, before he completed a move to Liverpool this week, according to reports from Poland, While all the focus is understandably on the Premier League champions’ potential acquisition of Thiago Alcantara (tuttomercato), the Reds also managed to secure the services of 16-year-old shot-stopper Mrozek. Agent Jakub Schlage from the SSM Football agency took to Twitter on Monday to confirm that the highly-rated FC Wroclaw goalkeeper had completed a move to Anfield. It was revealed that the 16-year-old would link up with Liverpool’s academy set up and start training with their first-team. Meanwhile, Wroclaw academy co-ordinator Milosz Gladoch has told Futbol.pl that several clubs around Europe including Tottenham were interested in landing the teenager. The report claims that Spurs, along with the likes of Inter Milan, Juventus, Bayern Munich, and Benfica were all keen on the shot-stopper. However, Mrozek is said to have impressed during a trial he had with Jurgen Klopp’s side last year and now that he has turned 16, he has signed his first professional contract with the club that runs until 2024.
Liverpool set for tribunal with Fulham over Harvey Elliott fee Liverpool and Fulham have not reached agreement over a fee for Harvey Elliott
So looks like we’ll sign a couple of kids and maybe a free transfer or a reasonably priced 29 year old. we are definitely short at FB and there is no doubt in my mind that Origi is not good enough and that we need someone to unlock defences in the middle... I pretty much said the same thing last year and look what happened. Will be much tougher if we don’t strengthen. If City are banned from Europe, they will have a big focus on the league. Chelsea are spending big and Utd are starting to click. Jury is out on Arsenal, depends who they buy and Spurs have to improve (surely?)....and Everton have a decent coach and money... I love that we won the league and spent f#ck all last summer. But that’ll be hard to do again. Not that I’m knocking the club; it’s right that we cut our cloth to suit the reality of today....unfortunately.
Would love us to get Willian on a freebie. 29 sure but milner proved sometimes an experienced head can be a good signing. Prob been Chelsea’s best player this season and would be a huge improvement on our current wide options.
Liverpool are set to use super agent Fali Ramadani to “formalise an offer” for Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly, according to report from Italy. https://readliverpoolfc.com/2020/07...o-use-a-super-agent-to-secure-koulibaly-deal/
one definite negative in recent years is our ridiculously large spend on agent fees for reasons that are beyond me as they would only make sense if it was to sweeten the deal by ensuring said agent gets paid by at least 2 of the 2 or 3 parties involved depending on the deal ........... ...............Oh !!!!
aren’t the agent fees partly due to the new contracts we’ve given out as well? We renewed quite a few over last 2 years
yeah but there is no way we , or any other club , should be paying a players agents fees for transfers or contract extensions . In fact in most industries an inquiry would be launched as it would be deemed a conflict of interest for the agent to be working for both parties in a deal .
Liverpool are reportedly weighing up a summer move for Espanyol centre-back Leandro Cabrera. The 29-year-old only swapped clubs in January as he left Getafe for Espanyol, but the Catalan outfit were officially relegated to the Segunda Division courtesy of their 1-0 loss at Barcelona last week. Liverpool are expected to be in the market for a new central defender this summer with Dejan Lovren likely to
29yrs old. Can almost guarentee we're not interested unless its for free. These 'journalists' need to try harder.
If I had the time and inclination, I would start a ‘journo fact league’...so we could quickly ‘out’ these idiot journo’s who worship clicks more than the truth. Unfortunately, I don’t have the time and even if I did, I don’t have the inclination
TivibuSpor reporter Erkut Öztürk claims Fenerbahce have been offered the chance to sign Liverpool winger Xherdan Shaqiri.
Shaqiri has got to be the luckiest player ever in terms of medals he's won. For that alone, I hope we keep him, he's a trophy magnet.
Liverpool to extend Lovren contract. I think that's all you need to know about our recruitment for this summer
